المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى معرفة مستوى وعي أولياء الأمور بعملية التعلم عبر الإنترنت وأثره على التحصيل الدراسي لأبنائهم، حيث وضع الباحث سؤالين بحثيين، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي، حيث تم اختيار العينة من أولياء الأمور بدولة الكويت والذين لهم أبناء في مراحل التعليم العام المختلفة في دولة الكويت بطريقة عشوائية بسيطة، حيث بلغ عدد العينة (٢٢٠) ولي أمر، كما استخدم الباحث الاستبانة كأداة للدراسة والتي احتوت على محورين (محور التطبيق ومحور التأثير على التحصيل الدراسي)، وتم التأكد من صدق الأداة وثباتها من خلال عرضها على عدد من المحكمين المختصين، وأظهرت نتائج البحث أن أولياء الأمور يملكون نظرة إيجابية نحو أثر عملية التعلم عبر الإنترنت على التحصيل الدراسي لأبنائهم إلا أنهم لا يرون أن بيئة المنزل بيئة مناسبة للتعلم، كما أظهرت النتائج أن النظرة إلى التعلم عبر الإنترنت يختلف بحسب جنس ولي الأمر، ولكن لا يختلف بحسب العمر والمستوى المادي، على الرغم من التعلم عبر الإنترنت يشكل أعباء مادية عليهم. وأظهرت أيضا نتائج البحث أن غالبية أولياء الأمور لم يتلقوا تدريب على أسلوب التعلم عبر الإنترنت، وأن الذكور منهم يرون أن لهذا النوع من التعلم أثر على التحصيل العلمي لأبنائهم أكثر من الإناث، حيث يعتقدون أن التعلم عبر الإنترنت أثر سلبيا على التحصيل الدراسي لأبنائهم حيث أضعف مهارة الكتابة لديهم.

The aim of the research is to identify the level of parents' awareness of the online learning process, and its impact on the academic achievement of their children. A descriptive approach was applied by the researchers to achieve the research objectives, where a sample of (220) parents who have children in different education stages in the State of Kuwait, was randomly selected. The researchers collected the data using a questionnaire as a tool, which included two important categories, one was for awareness practice, and the other was for the influence of awareness on academic achievement. The validity and reliability of the tool were confirmed by presenting it to several specialized arbitrators. The results of the research showed that parents have a positive view of the online learning impact on the academic achievement of their children, but they do not see the home as a suitable learning environment. The results also showed that the perception of online learning varies according to the gender of the guardian, but it does not vary according to age and financial level, even though, online learning adds financial burdens on them. Furthermore, the results showed that most of the parents were not trained on how to learn online, and the males of them believe that this type of learning has an impact on the educational achievement of their children more than females, as they believe that online learning has a negative impact on the academic achievement of their children because they believe that the online learning may weakness their children’s writing skills.
