المستخلص: The study aimed to identify the effect of the use of generative learning on the level of cognitive achievement of the teaching methods course for students of the Faculty of Physical Education, Mansoura University, the researcher used the experimental method using the experimental design of two equal groups, one experimental and the other controlling by following the pre and post measurements for both groups in order to suit the nature of the research. The students of the second division of the Faculty of Physical Education, Mansoura University, academic year 2020 AD / 2021 AD, and the research was conducted on a random sample of (80) eighty students from the research community, and they were divided into two equal and equal groups, one of which is experimental and includes (40) students who follow with them a method. Generative learning in their education and the other is control and includes (40) forty students who follow the traditional method (explanation and model) in teaching, and the study found that: The use of Vygotsky's generative learning model has a positive effect on the level of cognitive achievement of the course of teaching methods of the sample under study. The use of the traditional method did not have a positive effect on improving the level of cognitive achievement of the teaching methods course for the sample under study. The students of the experimental group that used the generative learning model of Vygotsky outperformed the students of the control group in improving the level of cognitive achievement of the course of teaching methods of the sample under study.
