This study aimed to identify the effect of the use of distance education on the cognitive learning outcomes of physical education among public education students in the south of Makkah, by identifying) Outcomes of cognitive education for the subject of physical education for the elementary stage through distance education - outcomes of cognitive education for the subject of physical education for the intermediate stage through distance education - outcomes of cognitive education for the subject of physical education for the secondary stage through distance education - the differences between the three stages in cognitive education outcomes for the subject Physical education during distance education, The researcher used the descriptive approach (the survey method) due to its relevance to the nature of the study. The study sample consisted of (elementary - intermediate - secondary) students, where the total study sample was (19,451 students) divided into the three educational stages by (14106 students) from the primary stage, (3998 students) from the intermediate stage, and (1347 students) From the secondary stage, where the measurement was performed in three stages, The researcher used the scale of evaluating the cognitive outcomes of the physical education subject according to the curriculum prescribed for each academic grade as a tool to collect data that was distributed electronically on the study sample, The most important conclusions were e-learning (distance) during the Covid-19 pandemic, which positively contributed to improving levels of cognitive achievement among students of the three educational stages, and the most positively affected of which was the primary stage, and improved cognitive achievement outcomes among students of the three educational stages (elementary - Intermediate - secondary) in the third stage of the measurement as a result of the accumulation of educational impact among students of the three educational stages resulting from elearning (distance) in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, n light of the study's conclusions, the researcher recommends reviewing the course planning processes and teaching mechanisms in line with the current era's requirements to take advantage of the shift that occurred in the educational process in line with the repercussions of COVID-19.
