المستخلص: سعت الدراسة إلى تعرف ماهية التعليم المنزلي، وعوامل نشأته والفلسفة التي يستند إليها، والتحديات التي تواجهه من وجهة نظر الطلاب والمعلمين لمحاولة الاستفادة من الفرص المتاحة لاستثمارها والتقليل من آثارها السلبية، واستخدمت الباحثتان المنهج الوصفي، وتوصلتا لعدة نتائج من أهمها: أن هناك اتفاق بين عينة الدراسة من المعلمين والخبراء والطلاب بمتوسط عالي بأن التحول لنمط التعليم المنزلي يمكن أن يساعد المعلم والعملية التعليمية على حل الكثير من المشكلات كازدحام الفصول وضعف الإمكانات، كما أنه يساعد على توظيف التكنولوجيا وزيادة استخدامها، كذلك يمكن أن يساعد الطلاب على تنمية مهارة التعلم الذاتي التي تتفق وفلسفة التعليم المنزلي ومساعدة الأسرة على حماية أبنائها مما قد تواجهه الدولة من ظروف طارئة (كالأمراض المعدية والأحداث السياسية)، كما يوجد اتفاق بين عينة الدراسة من المعلمين والخبراء والطلاب بمتوسط عالي بأن التحول لنمط التعليم المنزلي يمكن أن يؤثر سلبا على المعلم والعملية التعليمية من حيث ضعف الاهتمام بالجانب الرياضي والترفيهي، ورغبة الطلاب في استخدام الإنترنت في التسلية والترفيه، ويؤثر سلبا على الطلاب نتيجة تكرار الأعطال أثناء تأدية الامتحان بما يؤثر على حالتهم النفسية ومن ثم نتائجهم، كما يقلل من مشاركتهم في الأنشطة الجماعية، وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة الميدانية تم وضع عددا من المتطلبات التي يمكن أن تسهم في إنجاح هذا النمط من التعليم.

The study aimed at identifying what home schooling is and identifying the factors of its emergence, the philosophy on which it is based, as well as the challenges it faces from the students’ and teachers’ perspectives, which may be useful in taking advantage of the opportunities available to invest and try to reduce its negative effects. The researchers used the descriptive approach and they reached several results, the most important of which is that there was an agreement between the study sample of teachers, experts and students with a high average that switching to the home schooling style can help the teacher and the educational process to solve many problems such as overcrowding in classes and weakness of the resources available . It can also help in employing technology and increasing its use as well as helping students to develop the skill of self-learning that is consistent with the philosophy of home schooling and helping the family to protect its children from regent circumstances (e.g. infectious diseases and political events). The results also revealed that there was an agreement between the study sample of teachers, experts and students with a high average that shifting to the homeschooling pattern can negatively affect the teacher and the educational process in terms of lack of interest in the sports and recreational aspects , and the students’ desire to use the Internet for entertainment and it negatively affects students as a result of repeated malfunctions during the examination, which in turn negatively affects their psychological state and then their results, and it also reduces their participation in group activities. In light of the results of the field study, a number of requirements have been developed that can contribute to the success of this style of education.
