المستخلص: This study aims to expose the various risks facing commercial Banks, especially credit risks, in light of successive global development in banking field, Banks are not able to deal with these risks in traditional methods, which led to attention and focus on oversight of all kinds through the decision of Basel Committee for supervising banking that seeks to unify the methods of supervision by central Banks and enhance banking safety. Through this article, we will study the proposal of Basel Committee of Algerian commercial Banks to them, and this is within the goal of achieving banking safety that requires effective oversight mechanisms by central Bank and a continues follow-up of activities of commercial Banks. The question is" What is the commitment of the Algerian banks to the recommendations of the Basel Committee on Credit Control to achieve banking safety?
