المستخلص: " هذه المقالة هي مساهمة تهدف إلى تسليط الضوء على أصول الصراع اللغوي الجزائري وعلى رهاناته فيما يتعلق بهوية الأمة ودينها ولغتها. بالنسبة لدراستنا، اعتمدنا نهجاً للتحقيق التاريخي والاجتماعي على أساس التحقق من مجموعة من النصوص. من خلال نتائج هذه الدراسة، الهدف الأول المستهدف هو معرفة ما إذا كانت بذور الصراع تعود إلى فترة ما بعد الاستعمار أو ما إذا كانت نتيجة سياسة مدروسة من قبل القوة الاستعمارية السابقة كما تمكنا من ملاحظته بعد قراءة العديد من وثائق البحث. الهدف الثاني الذي سمحت به أيضا الدراسة المعنية هو ملاحظة أن رهانات الصراع تجاوزت الجانب اللغوي البحت."

The article is a contribution aimed at shedding light on the origins of the Algerian language struggle and its bets regarding the nation's identity, religion and language. For our study, we adopted a historical and social inquiry approach based on verification of a set of texts. Through the results of this study, the first targeted goal is to find out whether the seeds of conflict date back to the post-colonial period or whether it is the result of a policy studied by the former colonial power as we were able to observe after reading many research documents. My second target set also allowed by the study in question, is to note that the stakes of the conflict go beyond the purely linguistic aspect.

Le présent article est une contribution qui vise à jeter la lumière sur les origines du conflit linguistique algérien et sur ses enjeux quant à l’identité, la religion et la langue de la nation. Nous avons adopté pour notre étude une approche d’investigation historique et sociale basée sur le recoupement d’un ensemble de textes. A travers les résultats de cette étude, l’objectif ciblé en premier lieu est de savoir si les germes du conflit remontent à la période postcoloniale ou si elles sont les conséquences d’une politique bien élaborée par l’ancienne puissance coloniale comme nous l’avons pu constater après lecture de plusieurs documents de recherche. En deuxième lieu, l’étude en question a permis également de relever que les enjeux du conflit dépassaient l’aspect purement linguistique.
