المستخلص: This paper deals with the problem of the availability of specialized trainers at the Algerian university. By referring to the different profiles of teachers of French specialty, we note the existence of a single profile in this case a FLE teacher providing a terminology course. In order to meet the new needs of the students, the university must call on other profiles through a massive didactization of the different courses requiring a specific French. The objective being the urgent training of teachers mastering the practical and vehicular aspect of French as well as the way to deliver it (methodology) in other words, French on Academic Objective (FOU).

Le présent écrit s’intéresse au problème de la disponibilité de formateurs spécialisés à l’université algérienne. En se référant aux différents profils d’enseignants du français de spécialité, nous remarquons l’existence d’un seul profil en l’occurrence un enseignant de FLE assurant un cours de terminologie. Dans le but de satisfaire les nouveaux besoins des étudiants, l’université doit faire appel à d’autres profils à travers une didactisation massive des différentes formations nécessitant un français spécifique. L’objectif étant la formation urgente d’enseignants maitrisant l’aspect pratique et véhiculaire du français ainsi que la manière de le dispenser (méthodologie) autrement dit, le Français sur Objectif Universitaire (FOU).
