المستخلص: تتعدد أشكال العلاقة بين اللفظ والمعنى، ومن هذه الأشكال علاقة الترادف وتتمثل علاقة الترادف في وجود كلمات يمكن أن تتبادل المواقع مع بعضها دون أن يتغير المعنى على الرغم من اختلاف المكونات الصوتية لهذه الكلمات، ولابد للنظريات اللغوية الحديثة أن تفسر وقع الكلمات على المستمع لما تحمله الكلمة من قوة وسلطة، وهي تستمد مشروعيتها المعرفية في حواراتها الإنسانية من تجلياتها البسيطة بهدف التأثير على المتلقي وحمله على الإقناع. يتناول هذا البحث دراسة تطبيقية للترادف في شعر لميعة عباس عمارة، هذه الشاعرة العراقية المبدعة التي شكلت مع نازك الملائكة وسعاد الصباح وفدوى طوقان نهضة رافعة للأدب العربي ومانفيستو لتحرر المرأة في مجتمع القبيلة. إن دراسة الترادف في ضوء النظريات اللغوية الحديثة في أي حقل من حقول المعرفة لها مرجعتيها الفكرية والتاريخية التي اتخذت اللغة مسارا حيويا على مر الزمن انطلاقا من نسيج الكلام وتعلقا بمفهومي العاطفة والذهن، كمتصور تشريعي يجاذبه القصد في عملية التخاطب والإبلاغ اللساني.
