|a هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على فعالية استخدام نموذج فراير في اكتساب مفاهيم طرق تدريس اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية لدى طلاب المستوى السابع بكلية التربية بعفيف، جامعة شقراء بالمملكة العربية السعودية. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج شبه التجريبي ذو التصميم (القبلي، والبعدي) لمجموعة واحدة. وكان الاختبار أداة الدراسة لقياس اكتساب المفاهيم المستهدفة، وطبق الاختبار قبل المعالجة التجريبية على عينة الدراسة التي تكونت من (٥٣) طالبا درسوا المفاهيم بالطريقة الاعتيادية. ثم تم تدريسهم باستخدام نموذج فراير، وبعد انتهاء فترة المعالجة التجريبية طبق اختبار قياس المفاهيم مرة أخرى على نفس المجموعة لقياس أثر المتخثر المستقل. كشفت نتائج تحليل معلومات الدراسة أن اكتساب الطلاب لمفاهيم تدريس اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية تحسن بشكل كبير عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05)."
|b This study aimed to explore the effectiveness of using the Frayer model to acquire the concepts of teaching English as a foreign language to seventhlevel students at Afif College of Education, Shaqra University, Saudi Arabia. To accomplish the study’s objectives, the researcher adopted the Quasi-experimental method with one group design (pre-test, post-test). A test was constructed to measure the acquisition of the targeted concepts. Then it was applied before doing the experimental treatment on the study sample. They consisted of (53) students who studied the conceptions in the traditional method. They were then taught using the Frayer model. After the end of the experimental treatment period, the “t” test for small samples was applied to analyze the difference between means of scores of the study sample in the pre and post-measurements. Results of data analysis revealed that students’ acquisition of the concepts of Teaching English as a Foreign Language improved significantly at the level of significance (0.05).
