المستخلص: سعت الدراسة إلى معرفة مدى امتلاك محضري مختبرات العلوم بالمراحل التعليمية الثلاث في مدارس التعليم العام بدولة الكويت للكفايات المهنية، وحاولت الكشف عن واقع تلك الكفايات من وجهة نظر مشرفي ومحضري مختبرات العلوم، وشملت عينة الدراسة ٤٧٤ مشاركا من مشرفي مختبرات العلوم ومحضريها في مدارس قطاع التعليم العام (الحكومي والخاص) في دولة الكويت، وقد جمعت البيانات عن طريق الاستبانات التي وزعت على المشاركين في الفصل الدراسي الثاني من العام الدراسي ٢٠٢٠-٢٠٢١ م، ثم استخدمت الأساليب الإحصائية الوصفية والاستدلالية لمعالجة البيانات وتحليلها واستخراج نتائج الدراسة منها. وأعتمد الباحثون على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في مراجعة الكتب والأدبيات والدراسات المتعلقة بالتدريب في أثناء الخدمة، وتطبيق قائمة الكفايات المهنية لمعرفة مدى توافرها لدى محضري المختبرات، وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة وأكدت أن درجة امتلاك محضري مختبرات العلوم في مدارس التعليم العام بدولة الكويت للكفايات المهنية جاءت "مرتفعة جدا"، وتضمنت الكفايات: الكفايات الإدارية، وكفاية الأمن والسلامة، والتعامل مع المتعلمين، والتعامل مع المواد والأجهزة المخبرية، والتعامل مع المعلمين، واستخدام الحاسوب وتوظيفه، ويوصي الباحثون بالاستفادة من قائمة الكفايات المهنية لمحضري مختبرات العلوم، وتدريبهم على التعامل مع المتعلمين والمعلمين بما يسهل أداءهم للعمل، وضرورة إشراكهم في بناء برامج التدريب من خلال معرفة رغباتهم في البيئة التعليمية والتعلمية؛ وذلك لتشجيعهم على التعلم، ولضمان استمرارية امتلاكهم الكفايات المهنية بصورة إيجابية، وبكفاءة وفعالية وجودة عالية.

The research study sought to find out the extent to which science laboratory technicians in the three educational stages in public education schools in the State of Kuwait possess professional competencies and attempt to uncover the reality of those competencies from the viewpoint of the supervisors and technicians of science laboratories. The study adopted the quantitative, descriptive, analytical, and evaluation survey method to achieve its objectives. As for the study, the sample consisted of 474 participants from the supervisors and technicians of science laboratories in public education sector schools (government and private) in the State of Kuwait. A study tool (questionnaire) was distributed to them in the second semester of the academic year 2020-2021 for data collection, and then descriptive and inferential statistical methods were used to process and analyze the data and extract the results of the study. The researchers relied on the descriptive approach in reviewing books, literature, and studies related to in-service training and applying a list of professional competencies to see the extent of their availability among laboratory technicians. The results of the study showed that the extent of possession of science laboratory technicians in public education schools in the State of Kuwait included the following competencies: administrative, security and safety, dealing with learners, dealing with laboratory materials and equipment, dealing with teachers, and using and employing computers. The degree to which they possess these professional competencies is "very high significant". The researchers recommend using the list of professional competencies of science laboratory technicians in public education schools in the State of Kuwait and training laboratory technicians to deal with learners and teachers to facilitate their performance of work. And the necessity of involving laboratory technicians in building training programs through knowing their desires in the educational and learning environment, with the importance of their contribution to education and learning content, to encourage laboratory technicians to learn; To ensure that they continue to possess the professional competencies positively, with efficiency, effectiveness and high quality.
