على امتداد حقب التاريخ، وروايات الكتب والمؤلفات الإسلامية، كانت هناك محاولات التغييب للحقيقة، والتزوير للكثير من حوادث سيرة الرسول الأكرم (صلي الله عليه واله وسلم) وسنته، بل وحتى ما يخص بعض حياة الشعوب الإسلامية، ولعل أبرز تلك الأسباب، وأكثرها خطورة هي التسلط السياسي، وفرض الإرهاب السلطوي تاريخا رسميا يتماشى وإرادة الحاكم ومذهبه واتجاهه في الحياة، فتاريخنا الإسلامي هو تاريخ حكام وسلاطين، ولا يكاد يوجد أثر لحياة الشعوب والمجتمعات، بل الأدهى من ذلك تغييب الحقائق وإخفاء لها، كونه تاريخ سياسي بامتياز، فكتبنا مليئة بأخبار السلاطين وندمائهم وجلسائهم، ورغم أن السبب السياسي لم يكن هو السبب الوحيد الذي سير التاريخ بهذا الشكل، إلا أن إجراءات السياسة القسرية، ومنها منع كتابة وتدوين التاريخ بل ومنع تدوين الحديث النبوي والتحدث به منذ الأيام الأولى لوفاته صلي الله عليه واله وسلم، كان لها الأثر الأكبر والبارز في هذه السيرورة التاريخية التي جانبت الحقيقة. كما تدخل مذهب المؤرخ واتجاهه السياسي والعقيدي كثيرا في تدوين التاريخ بعد صدور الأوامر بكتابته، فسجلت الوقائع والأحداث المختلقة التي شوهت الحقيقة. كل هذا أدى إلى حصول تحريف كبير في النصوص الدينية والتاريخية لخدمة الأغراض السياسية، ولعب التعصب الذميم دورا بارزا في تقرير المنقولات والموقف من وثائق التاريخ ذات الشأن في مسار الأمة وفكرها. أن خطورة تلك المحاولات التي شوهت حقائق فكرية وتاريخية، وحاولت أن تجعل منها سنة للأجيال القادمة تكمن في انعكاسها على أوضاع المسلمين الفكرية والسياسية التي تتلقاها الأجيال. البحث في مجمله يعالج هذه الأفكار ويطرح نصوصا تاريخية ودينية تم تحريفها لأسباب سياسية بالاعتماد على نصوص وأحاديث تم دراستها وفق عرضها على القران والسنة والعقل والمنطق السليم.

The historian’s doctrine and his political and ideological orientation also intervened frequently in the recording of history after the orders were issued, and recorded the facts and fabricated events that distorted the truth. All of this has led to a major distortion in religious and historical texts to serve political purposes, and bigotry played a prominent role in determining the transfers and the position of the relevant history documents in the course of the nation and its thinking. The seriousness of these attempts, which distorted intellectual and historical realities and tried to make them a year for future generations, lies in their reflection on the intellectual and political situation of Muslims that generations receive. The research in its entirety addresses these ideas and presents historical and religious texts that have been distorted for political reasons based on texts and hadiths that have been studied in accordance with their presentation to the Qur’an, sunnah, reason and common sense.
