Numerous are the data extracted from Gilbert Naccache’s work that are conducive to thinking that this author displaces the terms of the debate in such a way as to think about identity outside the essentialist grid and its ideological implications («partial attitude», «sectarian», «intolerant», «domineering») as well as to lay the literary and theoretical foundations of a conception of identity considered not as the product of a «heritage» or of a «discursive construction», but rather as a free becoming of the human subject. That is to say, as a capacity of construction as well as self-construction, a capacity deployed by the human subject free of all forms of subjugation and domination. While identity defined as «discursive construction» has an «ideological rather than a scientific status», identity-freedom takes form and transforms itself through the human subject situated and involved in a changing history that is constantly in motion, contradictory, and open to the unknown. Nombreuses sont les données puisées dans l’oeuvre de Gilbert Naccache qui conduisent à penser que cet auteur déplace les termes du débat pour penser l’identité en dehors de la grille essentialiste et ses implications idéologiques («attitude partiale», «sectaire», «intolérante», «dominatrice») et pour asseoir les fondements littéraires et théoriques d’une conception de l’identité considérée non pas comme le produit d’un «héritage» ou d’une « construction discursive», mais plutôt comme un devenir libre du sujet humain. C’est-à-dire comme une capacité de construction et d’auto-construction du sujet humain libre de toutes les formes d’assujettissement et de domination. Alors que l’identité en tant que « construction discursive » a un « statut idéologique plutôt que scientifique », l’identité-liberté se forme et se transforme avec l’action du sujet humain situé et impliqué dans une histoire changeante, mouvante et contradictoire, avec toutes les ouvertures sur l’inédit. |
