|b The FLE teacher has now the role of an intercultural mediator allowing the discovery of a typically complex otherness and playing the intermediary between two languages, two cultures and two worlds loaded with representations. In this contribution which questions the reality of intercultural exploitation in Algerian secondary schools, we conducted an experiment with PES teachers to assess their practices. It emerges that it is very early to speak about an intercultural approach in the sense that the lessons are still axed on the linguistic study of the statements.
|d L’enseignant du FLE détient désormais le rôle d’un médiateur interculturel permettant de découvrir une altérité typiquement complexe et jouant l’intermédiaire entre deux langues, deux cultures et deux univers chargés de représentations. Dans cette contribution qui s’interroge sur la réalité de l’exploitation interculturelle au secondaire algérien, nous avons mené une expérimentation auprès des enseignants PES pour évaluer leurs pratiques. Il en ressort qu’il est très tôt de parler d’une approche interculturelle dans le sens où les enseignements sont encore axés sur l’étude linguistique des énoncés.
