المستخلص: يحاول الباحث في هذا البحث أن يسلط الضوء على موضوع مهم بالنسبة لمتعلمي اللغة الإسبانية ألا هو الاستيعاب المقروء. في هذه الورقة البحثية التي هدفها الرئيسي في تحديد مستوى الفهم المقروء اللغة الإسبانية الطالبة الجامعيين العراقيين الذين يتعلمون إسبانيا كلغة اجنبيه. بعد أن يتم معرفه مستوى الطلبة من خلال تحليل الأخطاء الشائعة من قبل الطلبة، سنضع سلسلة من المصادر التعليمية التي تساعد المعلم والطالب على حد سواء لتحسين استيعاب المقروء. الهدف من كتابه البحث هو تحديد مستوى الاستيعاب المقروء لتطوير مهارات الاتصال اللغوي. لذا فرضيتي أن الطلبة لا يستخدمون ولا يطورون الاستيعاب المقروء من أجل تحسين المهارة اللغوية. هنالك دراسات عدة تناولت الاستيعاب المقروء لمتعلمي اللغة الإسبانية كلغة اجنبيه وبالخصوص في أمريكا اللاتينية، لذا من الضروري الحصول أنا معلومات تدعم بحوث أخرى، فلم نجد بحوث قد تناولت نفس الموضوع للطلبة العراقيين. في ما يتعلق بمنهجية البحث تم اختبار الطلبة للإجابة على ستة أسئلة لنص موجود في الصفحة الخاصة بمعهد ثربانتس وهي تتطابق مع مستوى الطلبة A2 بعد التدقيق البيانات الخاصة بالطلبة تبين لنا أن مستواهم أقل من المستوى المذكور لذا يجب يبذل جهدا أكبر لتطوير المهارات اللغوية.

El objeto de este estudio es determinar el nivel de comprensión lectora de los estudiantes iraquíes de Español como Lengua Extranjera (ELE). La finalidad es poder establecer una serie de parámetros que ayuden a los alumnos a mejorar su comprensión lectora en un futuro próximo. Se trata, por tanto, de un trabajo de campo en el que han participado cuarenta y nueve estudiantes (de ambos sexos). Estos tuvieron que responder seis preguntas sacadas de un examen de ELE nivel A2. Una vez valoradas y corregidas las respuestas de los estudiantes, se han extraído una serie de observaciones que pueden ser utilizadas para mejorar las competencias lingüísticas y comunicativas de los alumnos. Por consiguiente, la comprensión lectora es un concepto fundamental en la didáctica.

In this research, the researcher aims to shed light on a crucial topic for Spanish language learners: reading comprehension. The primary goal of this research paper is to assess the level of reading comprehension in the Spanish language among Iraqi university students who are learning Spanish as a foreign language. Following the identification of students' comprehension levels through the analysis of common errors, we intend to create educational resources to aid both teachers and students in enhancing reading comprehension. The ultimate objective of this research is to determine the current level of reading comprehension and improve language communication skills. The hypothesis driving this research is that students do not effectively utilize or develop reading comprehension to enhance their language skills. Although several studies have explored the reading comprehension of Spanish language learners, particularly in Latin America, it is crucial to gather information that supports existing research. Notably, there is a gap in research addressing the same topic for Iraqi students. Concerning the research methodology, students underwent testing, answering six questions based on a text from the Cervantes Institute's page corresponding to the A2 level. Upon reviewing the students' data, it was evident that their comprehension level was below the specified A2 level.
