الانحراف بمعناه اللغوي يقصد به الميل والعدول عن الشيء، وصار يطلق في الغالب على الخروج عن الجادة والقيم النبيلة، ويأخذ الانحراف صورا عدة تتعلق بالسلوك والعمل والتصور، ويعد الانحراف في الفكر أحد تلك الصور، ويراد به الخروج عن الوسطية والاعتدال في فهم الأمور الدينية وتطبيقاتها، والفكر يعتبر أهم ما يميز الإنسان عن غيره من المخلوقات؛ إلا أن عدم ضبطه بضوابط العلم والهدي الشرعي أدى إلى تفاقم ظاهرة الانحراف فيه وكثرة الداعمين لها والمنافحين عنها سواء يدرون أو لا يدرون، وما يخلفه هذا الانحراف من آثار عظيمة تشوه الدين، وتصد عن تعاليم رب العالمين يكون من ضحاياها القتل والإبادة والعصبية بل الردة والعياذ بالله الأمر الذي أقلق الدول والشعوب والحكماء والعلماء كل ذلك يؤكد أهمية هذا البحث وضرورة الولوج فيه، ولقد كان الهدف من كتابة هذا البحث: بيان خطر الانحراف الفكري على الأفراد والجماعات والدول، وتوضيح الآثار المترتبة على هذا الداء وكشف وسائله ومظاهره، والسعي لإيجاد حلول متكاملة تسهم بمعالجة هذه الظاهرة أو الحد منها، وتكمن مشكلة هذا البحث في التعرف على الانحراف الفكري وكشف مظاهره ووسائله وآثاره؛ وما هي الطرق الناجعة في علاجه؟ وقد سلك الباحث في ذلك المنهج الاستقرائي التحليلي، وتوصل الباحث من خلال بحثه إلى أن الإسلام دين الوسط والعدل بعيد عن الانحراف والميل إلى الباطل بل هو أكثر الأديان أبطالا للانحرافات الفكرية الناشئة، وتبين من البحث أيضا أن الجهل بالدين والإعراض عن الكتاب والسنة والغيرة والحماس من أعظم الأسباب التي أدت إلى الانحراف في الفكر حيث نتجت عنه آثار مدمرة ومخاطر كبيرة أفسدت العقيدة وشككت في الدين وشوهت صورته، ويرى الباحث أن التمسك بالكتاب والسنة على طريقة سلف الأمة ونشر العلم الشرعي بأدلته، وتحصين الشباب والاهتمام بالمنحرفين، وفتح باب الحوار مع المتطرفين من أن أعظم وسائل مقاومة الانحراف الفكري، ويوصي الباحث الدعاة والوعاظ والمربين وولاة الأمور أن يقوموا بمسؤولياتهم وواجباتهم تجاه من هم تحت ولايتهم.
