المستخلص: تناولت الدراسة الإدارة بالأهداف وأثرها على أداء العاملين في المنشآت السياحية بمحلية شندي وتمثلت مشكلة الدراسة في السؤال الآتي: ما مدى تأثـير الإدارة بالأهداف عـلى أداء العاملين بالمنشآت السياحية، وهدفت الدراسة للتعرف على مفهوم الإدارة بالأهـداف كأحد الأساليب الإدارية الحديثة ودراسة واقع ممارسة تطبيق منهـج الإدارة بالأهداف من قبل العاملين بالمؤسسات السياحية. واتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لتحليل بيانات الدراسة وصممت استبانة لجمع بيانات الدراسة وتوصلت الدراسة لمجموعة من النتائج منها: السماح بمشاركة المرؤوسين في تحديد الأهداف حسب مستواهم الوظيفـي كما يحـدد المرؤوسين ورؤساؤهم الطرق الملائمة لتحقيق الأهداف الموضوعة، وقدمت الدراسة مجموعة من التوصيات منها: على مدراء المنشآت السياحية العمل على مشاركة العاملين في مختلف المستويات الإدارية في تحديد الأهداف وضرورة تحديد الطرق والأساليب المناسبة لتحقيقها مع مراعاة قدرات وإمكانيات المنشأة.

The study dealt with the management by objectives and its impact on the performance of workers in touristic establishments in shendi locality. The problem of the study was the following question: To what extent dose management by objectives impact the performance of employees in touristic establishments? The study aims to identify the concept of management by objectives as one of the modern administrative method and studies the reality of the practice of applying the approach of management by objectives by employees of touristic institution. The study followed the descriptive analytical approach in data analysis and designed questionnaire to collect the study data. The study reached arrange of results, including; Allowing the participation of subordinates in setting goals according to their level of employment as well as the appropriate ways to achieve the goals set, and the study provided a set of recommendations including; mangers of touristic establishments should work on the participation of workers at different administrative levels in determining the objectives and the need to identify appropriate methods and ways to achieve it, taking into account the capabilities and possibilities of establishment.
