Distance education is known to be one of the relatively modern methods of education that depends on the presence of the learner in a place different from the source in which the teacher and the book may be, which is the transfer of an education program from its position in the educational institution to places that are geographically dispersed with the aim of attracting students who, under normal circumstances, cannot continue in the program Traditional educational. The research dealt with five axes: the concept of distance education, its objectives, characteristics, elements and justifications for its use, the requirements for achieving distance education, as well as the concept of the crisis, its stages of development, characteristics, strategies for dealing with it, obstacles to its success and factors of its success, and the Corona crisis and how to confront it. An analytical study of parents ’attitudes towards the use of distance education in the face of the Corona crisis was also conducted, and the content of some social media, represented by Facebook, was analyzed, and some websites and electronic newspapers were analyzed to identify their views on distance education as a tool to confront the Corona crisis. The research came up with some recommendations, the most important of which are: -That the ministry uses co-educational or hybrid education. -For schools to adapt their capabilities in line with the possibilities of parents. -Taking into account parents' conditions financially and technologically. -Students self-developing their skills.
