520 |b In the Disoriented, Amin Maalouf, looks on the recent history of his country to tell the profound consequences generated by his civil war. This one occupies the backdrop of the story and seems to orchestrate all the elements of the narrative. The purpose of this article is to analyze the writing of war in the novel. Interested in studying the relationship between war, which is a traumatic experience that can be recorded on the side of ugliness and the text that is a form of artistic expression, dedicated to esthetically presenting the things of the world. We assume that war by investing the territories of fiction would not carry the text of its devastating power and would contribute to creating a tension at the level of writing that would be noticeable trough the choice of number of scriptural strategies. What are the strategies and how does it help to put war into text?  |d Dans « Les Désorientés », Amin Maalouf revient sur l’histoire récente de son pays pour raconter les profondes séquelles engendrées par sa guerre civile. Celle-ci occupe la toile de fond du récit et semble orchestrer tous les éléments de la narration. L’objectif du présent article est d’analyser l’écriture de la guerre dans ce roman. Il s’intéresse à étudier le rapport qui peut s’établir entre la guerre qui est une expérience traumatisante qu’on peut inscrire du côté de la laideur et le texte qui est une forme d’expression artistique, vouée à présenter esthétiquement les choses du monde. Nous partons de l’hypothèse que la guerre, en investissant les territoires de la fiction, ne ménagerait pas le texte de son pouvoir dévastateur et contribuerait à créer une tension au niveau de l’écriture qui serait perceptible à travers le choix d’un certain nombre de stratégies scripturales. Quelles sont ces stratégies et comment contribuent-t-elles à mettre la guerre en texte ?
