هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة دور المسئولية المجتمعية بالبنوك العامة في دعم التميز المؤسسي بالتطبيق على بنك مصر من خلال التحقق من وجود علاقة بين دور المسئولية المجتمعية والتميز المؤسسي وإبراز دور المسئولية المجتمعية للبنك كخيار استراتيجي فعال لتحقيق التميز وتم الاعتماد في الحصول على البيانات اللازمة للدراسة الميدانية على قائمة الاستقصاء كأداة رئيسة لجمع البيانات، وتمثل مجتمع الدراسة في العاملين بفروع بنك مصر في جمهورية مصر العربية وقد تم أخذ عينة عشوائية من هذا المجتمع تمثلت في 400 مفردة، وتم استخدام برنامج التحليل الإحصائي (SPSS) لإدخال ومعالجة البيانات واختبار الفروض، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى قبول الفرض الرئيس بوجود علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين ممارسات البنك للمسئولية المجتمعية وبين تحقيق التميز المؤسسي ببنك مصر" كما توصلت الدراسة إلى بعض النتائج أهمها أن معايير الحكم على نجاح البنوك وتميزها تغيرت من كونها تعتمد على معايير مالية واقتصادية فقط لتضاف مقاييس أخرى جديدة تتمثل في برامج خدمة وتنمية المجتمع وممارسة المسئولية المجتمعية تجاه المجتمع ككل كما توصلت الدراسة بأن قيام البنك بتبني مفهوم المسئولية المجتمعية لم يعد يقتصر على كونه عملا خيريا يقدمه للمجتمع المتواجد فيه بل هو عمل تنافسي من شأنه استقطاب العملاء وبالتالي زيادة أرباح البنك وقدرته على تحقيق التميز على المدى الطويل. ومن خلال ما تم التوصل إليه من نتائج تم التوصل إلى بعض التوصيات أهمها تمثل في ضرورة تبني كافة البنوك العامة والخاصة والمؤسسات وكافة منشآت الدولة للمسئولية المجتمعية بكافة مجالاتها لما لها من دور رئيس في دعمها للتميز المؤسسي.
The present study aims to shed light on the role of social responsibility of public banks in supporting institutional excellence by application on Banque Misr. In this respect, the main purpose is to verify the relationship between the role of social responsibility and the achievement of institutional excellence and also to highlight the role of the bank's social responsibility as an effective strategic medium to achieve excellence. The survey, as a main tool for data collection, covers the employees of Banque Misr branches in the Arab Republic of Egypt. A random sample of 400 individuals was collected and the statistical analysis program SPSS was used to process data and test hypotheses. The study proves the acceptance of the main hypothesis that there is a statistically significant relationship between the bank's social responsibility practices and the achievement of institutional excellence in Banque Misr. These social responsibility practices are represented in community service and development programs. The study also concludes that the bank's adoption of the concept of social responsibility is no longer limited to offer a charitable work to the community in which it is located, but rather to present some sort of a competitive work that would attract customers and thus increase the bank's profits and its ability to achieve excellence on the long term. Based on the reached results, the researcher recommends that it's necessary for all public and private banks and all state institutions to adopt the concept of social responsibility because of its major role in achieving institutional excellence.
