المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى المسؤولية المجتمعية لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعات محافظة إربد وعلاقتها بالأداء الوظيفي لديهم من وجهة نظر الطلبة، واعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، وقام الباحثان بتطوير استبانة تضمنت محورين: الأولى لقياس المسؤولية المجتمعية لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعات محافظة إربد، والثانية لقياس الأداء الوظيفي لديهم، حيث تكون مجتمع الدراسة من (64450) طالبا وطالبة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (687) طالبا وطالبة، تم اختيارهم بالطريقة المتيسرة، وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن درجة المسؤولية المجتمعية لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعات محافظة إربد من وجهة نظر الطلبة جاءت بدرجة (مرتفعة)؛ وكشفت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مقياس المسؤولية المجتمعية تعزى لمتغير (نوع الجامعة)، وذلك لصالح الجامعات (الخاصة)، وأظهرت النتائج أن درجة الأداء الوظيفي لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس من وجهة نظر الطلبة جاءت درجة (مرتفعة)، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مقياس الأداء الوظيفي تعزى لمتغير (نوع الجامعة)، لصالح (الجامعات الخاصة)، وأظهرت وجود علاقة إيجابية دالة إحصائيا بين درجة ممارسة المسؤولية المجتمعية ومستوى الأداء الوظيفي، ويوصي الباحثان بضرورة عقد ندوات توعوية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس لتعزيز ممارسة المسؤولية المجتمعية وربط تلك الممارسة بالأداء الوظيفي لديهم.

The study aimed to identify the social responsibility of faculty members in the universities of Irbid Governorate and its relationship to their job performance from the students' point of view, and the study adopted the relational descriptive approach, and the two researchers developed a question¬naire that included two axes: the first to measure the social responsibility of faculty members in the universities of the Irbid Governorate, and the second To measure their job performance, where the study population consisted of (64450) male and female students, and the study sample consist¬ed of (687) male and female students, who were chosen in the available method, and the results of the study showed that the degree of social responsibility among faculty members in the universities of Irbid Governorate from the students' point of view It has a grade (high); The results revealed that there are statistically significant differences in the scale of social responsibility due to the varia¬ble (university type), in favor of (private) universities, and the results showed that the degree of job performance of faculty members from the students' point of view was (high), and the presence of statistically significant differences In the job performance measure attributed to the variable (university type), in favor of (private universities), and it showed a positive statistically significant relationship between the degree of social responsibility practice and the level of job performance, and the researchers recommend the necessity of holding awareness seminars for faculty members to enhance the practice of social responsibility and link that practice to job performance they have.
