المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن درجة توافر مهارات البحث العلمي لدى طلبة كلية التربية بجامعة إقليم سبأ من وجهة نظر الطلبة ومشرفيهم، ولتحقيق أهدافها؛ فقد أعد الباحثان استبانة تكونت من خمسة مجالات هي: (تحديد المشكلة وإعداد خطة البحث، وأدبيات البحث، ومنهجية البحث وإجراءاته، وعرض تحليل نتائج البحث وتفسيرها، المراجع والتوثيق، واشتملت على (53) فقرة، وبعد التأكد من صدق الاستبانة وثباتها؛ طبقت على عينة مكونة من (133) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة المستوى الرابع في أقسام كلية التربية، وعدد (22) مشرفا ممن أشرفوا على بحوث تخرجهم، وكان من أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة: (أن درجة توافر مهارات البحث لدى العينة كانت بدرجة (قليلة) على الاستبانة الكلية ومجالاتها الفرعية من وجهة نظر الطلبة ومشرفيهم؛ ماعدا مجال أدبيات البحث كان بدرجة (قليلة جدا) من وجهة نظر الطلبة، وبدرجة (متوسطة) من وجهة نظر مشرفيهم، كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في تقديرات الطلبة ومشرفيهم لدرجة توافر مهارات البحث على الاستبانة الكلية، ومجال المراجع والتوثيق، وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا على المجالات الأربعة الأخرى؛ كما كشفت النتائج عن وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا لدى العينة تعزى لمتغير القسم (علمي، إنساني) على الاستبانة الكلية ومجالاتها الفرعية، وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا تعزى لمتغير النوع (ذكور، إناث).

The study aimed at identifying the degree of availability of scientific research skills among students of Faculty of Education at University of Saba Region from the students and their supervisors’ points of view. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers prepared a questionnaire that consisted of five domains: defining the problem, preparing the research plan, literature review, research methodology and procedures, presenting the analysis, discussion and interpretation of the research results, references and citation. The questionnaire included (53) items. After verifying the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, it was administered to a sample of (133) students of Level IV of the students of Faculty of Education and Science as well as (22) supervisors who supervised their graduation research. The study reached the following conclusions: The degree of availability of scientific research skills among the sample was low on the total questionnaire and its sub-domains from the students’ and their supervisors’ points of view, except in the field of literature review, where it was very low from the students’ point of view and medium from the their supervisors’ point of view. The study also concluded that there were statistically significant differences in the estimates of students and their supervisors of the degree of availability of research skills on the total questionnaire and on the field of references and citation. There were, however, no statistically significant differences on the other four domains. The results also show that there were differences in the sample due to the variable of the department (scientific, human) on the total questionnaire and its sub-domains, and there were no statistically significant differences due to the gender variable (male, female).
