المستخلص: يهدف البحث إلى التعرف على أثر استراتيجية 4H في الاستطلاع الجغرافي لدى طلاب الصف الرابع الأدبي في مادة الجغرافية. ولتحقيق هدف البحث قام الباحثان بوضع فرضية صفرية. وللتحقق من فرضية البحث تم وبشكل قصدي اختيار عينة من طلاب الصف الرابع الأدبي في إعدادية الحكمة للبنين في مدينة الموصل للعام الدراسي (2019-2020) وبالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة اختار الباحثان الشعبة (أ) لتمثل المجموعة التجريبية والتي تدرس وفقا لاستراتيجية H4 في حين أصبحت الشعبة (ب) تمثل المجموعة الضابطة والتي تدرس وفقا للطريقة الاعتيادية. وقد بلغ مجموع أفراد عينة البحث (52) طالبا. وتوزعت عينة البحث بواقع (27) طالبا للمجموعة التجريبية (25) طالبا للمجموعة الضابطة وأجريت عملية التكافؤ بين مجموعتي البحث في المتغيرات التالية (العمر الزمني الذكاء المعدل العام للسنة السابقة، تحصيل مادة الجغرافية للسنة السابقة). وقام الباحثان بتهيئة المستلزمات الضرورية للبحث والمتمثلة بتحديد المادة العلمية. وصياغة الأغراض السلوكية للمادة المحددة وإعداد الخطط التدريسية الخاصة بتدريس المجموعتين التجريبية (وفقا لاستراتيجية H4) والضابطة (وفقا لطريقة التدريس الاعتيادية). وتطلب البحث إعداد أداة وهي: مقياس الاستطلاع الجغرافي وتكون بصيغته النهائية من (35) فقرة ولكل فقرة ثلاثة بدائل وتم التحقق من الصدق والثبات والتمييز وكانت جميعها ضمن المدى المقبول. وبعد جمع البيانات وتحليلها إحصائيا باستخدام الاختبار التائي لعينتين مستقلتين وبالاعتماد على برنامج الحقيبة الإحصائية (v.26 SPSS) أظهرت النتائج تفوق المجموعة التجريبية على المجموعة الضابطة في مقياس الاستطلاع الجغرافي. وفي ضوء نتائج البحث تقدم الباحثان بعدد من التوصيات منها قيام وحدة الإعداد والتدريب في مديرية التربية في محافظة نينوى بتدريب مدرسي ومدرسات الجغرافية على كيفية استخدام استراتيجية H4. واستكمالا للبحث الحالي وضع الباحثان مقترحات لبحوث مستقبلية منها: أثر استراتيجية H4 في التفكير المنظومي لطلاب الصف الرابع الأدبي في مادة الجغرافية وتنمية مهارات رسم الخرائط لديهم.

The research aims to identify the effect of using the 4H strategy in the geographical survey of fourth-grade literary students in the subject of geography. To achieve the goal of the research, the two researchers set a null hypothesis, and to verify the hypothesis of the research, a sample of the fourth literary grade students at Al-Hikma Preparatory School for Boys in the city of Mosul for the academic year (2019-2020) was deliberately selected, and in a simple random way, the researchers chose Division (A) to represent the experimental group which It is taught according to the 4H strategy, while Division (B) has become the control group, which is taught according to the usual method. The research sample was distributed by (27) students for the experimental group and (25) students for the control group, and the process of equivalence was conducted between the two research groups in the following variables (chronological age, intelligence, general average for the previous year, and the achievement of geography for the previous year). The researchers prepared the necessary supplies for the research, namely defining the scientific material, formulating the behavioral objectives of the specific material, and preparing the teaching plans for teaching the experimental groups (according to the 4H strategy) and the control groups (according to the usual method of teaching). The research required the preparation of a tool, namely: the geographical survey scale, and its final form consists of (35) paragraphs, and each paragraph has three alternatives, and the validity, stability and discrimination were verified, and all of them were within the acceptable range. After data collection and statistical analysis using the t-test for two independent samples and based on the statistical package program (SPSS 26.v), the results showed that the experimental group outperformed the control group in the geographical survey scale. In light of the results of the research, the researchers made a number of recommendations, including that the Preparation and Training Unit in the Directorate of Education in Nineveh Governorate train geography teachers on how to use the 4H strategy. To complement the current research, the researchers put forward proposals for future research, including: The effect of the 4H strategy on the systemic thinking of fourth-grade literary students in geography and developing their cartographic skills.
