المستخلص: رغم الجهود المبذولة من طرف الجامعة الجزائرية، إلا أن النتائج المحصل عليها لازالت هزيلة، وقد فشلت في مواكبة التقدم العلمي والتعليمي الذي حدث في أماكن أخرى من العالم، وهو ما أثر على نوعية التدريب. تواجه الجامعة الجزائرية عدة عوائق في تطبيق الوعي المعلوماتي، وتتمثل في كفاءات ومواقف كل من الأساتذة والطلبة، وظروف المكتبات الجامعة ومدى توفر خدمات الإنترنت. إن كان بالإمكان الحصول على الموارد المادية والتعليمية، فإن أهم شيء هو اعتماد استراتيجية لتعليم الوعي المعلوماتي. فرغم التطور الذي عرفته الجامعة الجزائرية، إلا أنه لازال هناك الكثير مما ينبغي القيام به لتوفير كل الموارد اللازمة، من حيث أجهزة وخدمات الحاسوب، وإعادة تنظيم المكتبات، والتدريب على استعمال تكنولوجيا التعليم الحديثة من طرف الأساتذة والطلبة.

Despite the efforts made by the Algerian University, for the improvement of the quality of training, the results remain meager, and fail to keep up with scientific and educational progress taking place elsewhere in the world. The Algerian university has several constraints to apply information culture. These include the abilities and attitudes of teachers and students, library conditions and computer resources. While material and educational resources can be acquired, the most important thing is the adoption of an information culture of education strategy. Much work remains to be done to gather the necessary resources, in terms of computer tools, reorganization of libraries, and educational training of university lecturers.

Malgré les efforts déployés par l’Université algérienne pour améliorer la qualité de la formation, les résultats restent maigres et ne parviennent pas à suivre les progrès scientifiques et éducatifs qui se déroulent ailleurs dans le monde. L’université algérienne a plusieurs contraintes pour appliquer la culture de l’information. Il s’agit notamment des capacités et des attitudes des enseignants et des étudiants, des conditions de bibliothèque et des ressources informatiques. Bien que des ressources matérielles et éducatives puissent être acquises, la chose la plus importante est l’adoption d’une culture de l’information de la stratégie éducative. Beaucoup de travail reste à faire pour rassembler les ressources nécessaires, en termes d’outils informatiques, de réorganisation des bibliothèques et de formation pédagogique des professeurs d’université.
