تمثل الهدف الرئيسي لهذه الدراسة في التعرف على نسبة مشاركة التلاميذ ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة (ذوي الإعاقة العقلية البسيطة وضعاف السمع) في أنشطة المسرح المدرسي وعلاقته بمفهوم الذات لديهم. تنتمي هذه الدراسة إلى الدراسات الوصفية التي تسعى إلى وصف الظواهر والتعرف على عناصرها ومكوناتها عن طريق جمع المعلومات والبيانات وتحليلها وتفسيرها، بما يتيح تقديم صورة دقيقة وموضوعية عن الظاهرة قيد البحث والدراسة وتعتمد هذه الدراسة على منهج المسح الإعلامي، لكونه من أنسب المناهج العلمية للدراسات الوصفية بصفة عامة. استخدمت الدراسة أداتين لجمع البيانات المطلوبة وهما استمارة استبيان ومقياس مفهوم الذات. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها وجود فرق دال إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات التلاميذ ذوى الإعاقة العقلية البسيطة ومتوسطات درجات التلاميذ ضعاف السمع على إجمالي مقياس دور أنشطة المسرح المدرسي في زيادة مستوى مفهومهم لذاتهم، ووجود فرق دال إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات الذكور ومتوسطات درجات الإناث ذوى الاحتياجات الخاصة على إجمالي مقياس دور أنشطة المسرح المدرسي في زيادة مستوى مفهومهم لذاتهم، ووجود علاقة ارتباطية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين نسبة مشاركة التلاميذ ذوى الاحتياجات الخاصة لنشاط المسرح المدرسي ودورها في زيادة مستوى مفهومهم لذاتهم، ووجود علاقة ارتباطية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين مشاركة التلاميذ ذوى الاحتياجات الخاصة لنشاط المسرح المدرسي وبين إشباعها لحاجاتهم النفسية والاجتماعية.
The main objective of this study is to identify the participation rate of students with special needs (with mild mental disabilities and hearing impairment) in school theatre's activities and its relationship to their self- concept. This study belongs to descriptive studies that seek to describe phenomena and identify their elements and components by collecting information and data, then analyze and interpret them, in order to provide an accurate and objective picture of the phenomenon under research and study. This study relies on the media survey method, as it is one of the most appropriate scientific methods for descriptive studies in general. The study uses two instruments to collect the required data, namely, a questionnaire and the self- concept scale. The study has reached a set of results, the most important of which are There is a statistically significant difference between the average scores of students with mild mental disabilities and the average scores of students with hearing impairments on the total scale of the role of school theatre's activities in increasing the level of their self- concept, There is a statistically significant difference between the average scores of males/females with special needs on the total scale of the role of school theatre's activities in increasing their level of self-concept, There is a statistically significant correlation between the participation rate of students with special needs in the school theatre's activity and its role in increasing the level of their self- concept, There is a statistically significant correlation between the participation of students with special needs in the school theatre's activity and the satisfaction of their psychological and social needs.
