|a هدفت الدراسة -باستخدام المنهج الميداني- إلى التعرف على دور شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في التكوين المهني للعاملين في المكتبات العامة بمحافظة أسيوط، وتكونت من مقدمة، وجانب عملي، وخاتمة، وطُبقت على عينة قصدية من العاملين الحاصلين على مؤهل متوسط، بلغ حجمها 86 موظف يعملون في 73 مكتبة، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أنهم يستخدمون شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي بنسبة 87.2% ، وكان أبرز الشبكات المستخدمة الفيسبوك بنسبة 80%، واليوتيوب بنسبة 76%، وتويتر بنسبة30.7%، والإنستجرام بنسبة 14.7% . ويستخدمونها بغرض التواصل مع الآخرين وإقامة صداقات بنسبة 93.3%، ومتابعة الأخبار وآخر المستجدات بنسبة 89.3%، والتثقيف والتعليم بنسبة 84%، والتسلية والترفيه بنسبة 74.7%، أما من حيث اعتمادهم عليها في تكوينهم المهني فبلغت نسبته 40%، من أجل متابعة آخر المستجدات والتطورات في مجال عملهم ومواكبة بنسبة 66.7%، وتحسين مستوى أداء العمل بنسبة %60، واكتساب مهارات وسلوكيات جديدة لتعليم المستفيد وتوجيهه أثناء البحث عن المعلومات بنسبة 53.3% . ويحققون هذا بالاطلاع على أحدث ما نشر في مجال مهنتهم بنسبة 73.3%، والانضمام إلى المجموعات والصفحات المهتمة بمهنة المكتبات بنسبة 66.7% . وإنشاء صفحات ومجموعات تهتم بمهنة المكتبات بنسبة50% ، ونشر محتوي معلوماتي بنسبة 43.3% وكان الاطلاع على الأدوار الجديدة لأخصائي المكتبة هو العنصر الأساسي الذي يسعون إلى تحقيقه من خلال التكوين المهني باستخدام شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي بنسبة70%، والاعتماد على التكنولوجيا الحديثة في تقديم خدمات المكتبة بنسبة 63.3% وتطوير الإجراءات الفنية والإدارية في مكتباتهم بنسبة 50%.
|b Using the field study method, the present study aimed at identifying the role of social networks in the professional formation of public library employees in Assiut Governorate. The study consisted of an introduction, a practical section and a conclusion and it was conducted on a purposive sample of 86 employees holding an intermediate degree and working at 73 libraries. The study found that 87.2% of them use social networks. The most remarkable social networks that they used were Facebook (80%), Youtube (76%), Twitter (30.7%) and Instagram (14.7%). They used them for communication with others and making friends (93.3%), following news and latest developments (89.3%), education (84%), and amusement and recreation (74.7%). They rely on these social networks for professional formation (40%), following and keeping up with the latest developments in their field of work (66.7%), improving their work performance (60%), acquiring new skills and behaviors that educate and guide the beneficiary during search for information (53.3%). They achieve this through getting acquainted with the latest publications in the field of their work (73.3%), joining groups and webpages interested in the library profession (66.7%), establishing webpages and groups interested in the library profession (50%), and publishing an informational content (43.3%). Knowledge of the new roles of the librarian was the main element which they sought to achieve through professional formation using social networks (70%), followed by reliance on modern technology for the provision of library services (63.3%), and development of technical and administrative procedures in their libraries (50%).
