تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعريف بشبكة LinkedIn وبخصائصها وملامحها المميزة كنموذج لشبكات التواصل المهني، بالإضافة إلى استقصاء واقع إفادة المصريين العاملين بقطاع المكتبات والمعلومات منها، والتعرف على مدى رضائهم عن المميزات والخدمات التي تقدمها، وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الميداني نظرا لطبيعتها الوصفية التحليلية ، وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية: تفاوت مستوى الرضا عن الإفادة من الشبكة حيث احتل راض إلى حد ما على المرتبة الأولى بنسبة 58.6%، في حين جاء في المرتبة الثانية راض بما يقدر بنسبة 33.1% ، وفى المرتبة الأخيرة غير راض بنسبة 8.3% ويتضح من النسب السابقة أن مستوى الرضا عن الإفادة من الشبكة كبير بما يقدر بنسبة 91.7% وإن تفاوتت مستويات الرضا؛ وجود علاقة بين المتغيرات الديموجرافية ومدى الرضا عن الشبكة، هذا وتختلف درجة قوة العلاقة باختلاف المتغير حيث إن أكثر المتغيرات تأثيرا على مدى الرضا عن الإفادة من الشبكة كان متغير المحافظة، وأقلها تأثيرا متغير الوظيفة الحالية؛ وفى ضوء هذه النتائج تم تقديم عدة توصيات من أجل رفع مستوى الإفادة من الشبكة بقطاع المكتبات والمعلومات على المستوى المصري والعربي بالإضافة إلى التعريف بها على نطاق أوسع.
This study aims to introduce the LinkedIn network and its characteristics and distinctive features as a model for professional networks, as well as to investigate its benefit to Egyptians workers affiliated with the library and information field, and to identify their extent of satisfaction with the features and services LinkedIn network provides. The study relied on the field study approach due to its descriptive and analytical nature. The study concluded the following results: uneven level of satisfaction of making good use of the network, where the rating with "satisfied to a certain extent" occupied the first place with 58.6% percentage, and the "just satisfied" rating came second by estimated 33.1% percentage, and in last place the "not satisfied" rating came with 8.3% percentage. It is evident from the previous ratios that the satisfaction with the benefits of the LinkedIn network is large by an estimated of 91.7% percentage although there are various levels of satisfaction level. The study also shows a relationship between demographic variables and the level of satisfaction with the network. The study revealed that the degree of strength of the relationship varies in accordance to the demographic variable and it showed that the most influential variables on the level of satisfaction of making good use of the network was the "Governorate", and the least influential variables was the "Current Job" variable. In the light of the study results, several recommendations were presented for increasing the level of benefit of the LinkedIn Network to Egyptians and Arab workers affiliated with the library and information Field in addition to publicize it more widely.
