المستخلص: يشكل الزي المسرحي خصوصية في العرض المسرحي لما له من قدرة اتصال وتواصل مع باقي عناصر العرض البصرية في إبراز القيم الفكرية والدرامية، وقد كانت مشكلة البحث عبر التساؤل الآتي: ما هو توظيف خصائص تصميم الزي وكيفيته في عروض مسرح الطفل، أما الفصل الثاني فقد ضم مبحثين الأول: تطورات الأزياء في العرض المسرحي، والثاني: العناصر التصميمية للأزياء وخصائصها، والثالث المتضمن إجراءات البحث، والرابع فعرضت فيه نتائج البحث والاستنتاجات وكان منها: 1. تعد مسرحية (حدث في المزرعة) من المسرحيات ذات الأهداف التعليمية والتثقيفية والجمالية لما حملت بأنساقها سمات البساطة والتنوع للدلالات الشكلية البصرية للطفل. 2. لمصمم الأزياء الدور المهم في إيصال فكرة المسرحية ومضامينها وإيصال دلالاتها فضلا عن قدرته الخيالية والابتكارية، من خلال التعامل مع طبيعة المادة أو الخامة وتصميمها بما يتوافق مع مريدات العرض. واختتمت الدراسة بالمصادر والملاحق.
