المستخلص: سعت الدراسة إلى إثبات القيمة الأدبية والتعبيرية للكتابات الجدارية، وتمييزها عن الخربشات العبثية. وتعد بذلك إضافة إلى بحوث قديمة سبقتها لأدب الجدران، وأخرى معاصرة تناولته تناولا اجتماعيا. فهدفت إلى لفت الأنظار لتلك الكتابات؛ لتلمس قيمها الفنية، ومنحها حقها من النقد والتأمل متوسلة بالمنهج التكاملي لتحليل النصوص من وجوه متعددة نفسية، واجتماعية، وبنائية. وعليه، مُهد للدراسة بالحديث عن أدب الجدران في العصر القديم، ممثلا بشعر الغرباء، ثم وقفت الدراسة على أبرز الدوافع والأسباب التي تكمن خلف تلك الكتابات أسلوبًا، وأداةً، ووعاءً، وبنيةً. فكان مقص الأعراف والتهميش والكبت الاجتماعي والتعبير عن الذات والتواصل. كل ذلك هيأ مناخًا لفئة واسعة من المجتمع لتبتكر لذاتها ميدانًا تعرض فيه فنها الخاص. وشملت مضامين النصوص ثلاثة محاور: الحب، والحياة موضوعين، والفكاهة سمة. فشكلت تلك الكتابات لوحة الحياة العامة بجدها وهزلها. وتشاركت هذه النصوص مع أشكال الأدب المكتوب بخصائص، وتميزت عنها بأخرى شكلية ومعنوية وبنائية. ما يهيئها لتغدو أدبًا هجينًا خارجًا على المعايير الأدبية التقليدية. ويفرضها شكلًا أدبيًا جديرًا بالتذوق والدراسة.

The study sought to prove the literary and expressive value of Graffiti and distinguish it from absurd scribbles. It builds on previous research on graffiti and contemporary works that dealt with it from a social perspective. It also aimed to shed light on the phenomenon of graffiti, give it the attention it deserves, trace the artistic values it harbors, evaluate it and examine it attentively, using the integrative method for analyzing texts from psychological, social and constructive perspectives. The study started with a discussion of graffiti in the ancient era, as reflected in the poetry of strangers. Then, it examined the motives and reasons lying behind these writings in terms of style, tool, context, and structure. This is added to the restriction of norms, marginalization, social repression, self-expression and communication. All these factors furnished the ground for a large section of society to create a tool through which they could display their art. Graffiti texts included three themes: love, life, and humor as a feature, all of which painted public life with its diligence and humor. These texts shared characteristics with literature, and distinguished itself with formal, moral and constructive features, which forged them into a kind of hybrid literature outside the context of traditional literary standards worthy of appreciation and study.
