المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على العلاقة بين الضغوط المهنية ومعنى الحياة لدى الأطباء، والتعرف على الفروق بين الضغوط المهنية ومعنى الحياة لدى الأطباء تبعاً لمتغير (الجنس، والتخصص، وسنوات الخبرة المهنية)، وكذلك التعرف على إمكانية التنبؤ بمعنى الحياة من بعض أبعاد الضغوط المهنية لدى الأطباء، وتحقيقًا لهذا الهدف تم إجراء البحث على عينة قوامها (١٠٠) من الأطباء والطبيبات من تخصصات (الباطنة، الجراحة)، وبعد تطبيق مقياسي الضغوط المهنية لدى الأطباء ومعنى الحياة، أوضحت أهم النتائج وجود ارتباط سالب دال إحصائيًا بين الضغوط المهنية ومعنى الحياة لدى الأطباء، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الضغوط المهنية بين الأطباء والطبيبات لصالح الطبيبات، وكذلك وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا بين متوسطي درجات الضغوط المهنية لدى الأطباء تبعًا لمتغير التخصص لصالح أطباء الباطنة، وتبعًا لمتغير سنوات الخبرة المهنية لصالح سنوات الخبرة أقل من عشر سنوات، وتوصلت النتائج إلى عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا بين متوسطي درجات معنى الحياة لدى الأطباء تبعًا لمتغير النوع والتخصص وسنوات الخبرة المهنية، وأشارت النتائج إلى أن متغير ضغوط بيئة العمل ينبئ بمعنى الحياة لدى الأطباء.

The current study aimed to identify the relationship between occupational stress and the meaning of life for physicians, and to identify the differences between Occupational stress and the meaning of life for physicians according to the variable (sex, specialization, and years of professional experience),as well as to identify the possibility of predicting the meaning of life from some dimensions of occupational stress among Doctors, and in order to achieve this goal, the research was conducted on a sample of (100) male and female physicians from the specializations(internal medicine, surgery),and after applying the scales of occupational stress among physicians and the meaning of life, the most important results showed that there is a statistically significant negative correlation between occupational stress and the meaning of life for physicians. There are statistically significant differences in occupational stress between male and female physicians in favor of female physicians, as well as the presence of statistically significant differences between the average degrees of occupational stress among physicians, according to the variable of specialization in favor of internal medicine physicians, and according to the variable of years of professional experience in favor of years of experience less than ten years. The results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of meaning of life for physicians according to the variable of gender, specialization, and years of professional experience. The results indicated that the variable of work environment stress predicts the meaning of life for physicians.
