المستخلص: The study aims to try to identify the phenomenon of psychological combustion or occupational exhaustion in an important segment of doctors practicing in the public sector in the light of some variables: behavioral patterns, gender, and experience. The results showed that the sample doctors suffer from a high degree of psychological combustion and that the degree of psychological combustion they suffer does not differ according to behavioral patterns or gender, while it seems clear that this degree is affected by the duration of professional experience. L'objectif de cette étude est d’essayé de fournir un paysage sur la phénomène de burn¬out (l’épuisement professionnel) chez une catégorie importante présente les médecins collaborant dans le secteur public. L’étude tente aussi d’apporter un éclairage concernant l'effet probable des variables comme: le type de personnalité, le sexe, et l’expérience professionnelle, les résultats de cette recherche montrant que les médecins souffrent d’un niveau élevé d’épuisement professionnel, est ce niveau d’épuisement professionnel ne se diffère pas selon les types de personnalité et le sexe, par contre ce niveau s’affect par la duré d’expérience professionnelle.

الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو محاولة الوقوف على ظاهرة الاحتراق النفسي أو العياء المهني عند شريحة هامة تمثلت في الأطباء الممارسين في القطاع العام، وذلك في ضوء بعض المتغيرات: كالأنماط السلوكية، والجنس، والخبرة. وقد أظهرت النتائج أن عينة الأطباء يعانون من ارتفاع في درجة الاحتراق النفسي، وأن درجة الاحتراق النفسي الذي يعانون منه لا تختلف حسب الأنماط السلوكية أو الجنس، بينما يبدو جليا أن تلك الدرجة تتأثر بمدة الخبرة المهنية.
