This is how people see the American dream. This study examines Laila Halaby's Once in a Promised Land, an Anglo-Arab fiction. The current study examines how the 11-9 attacks negatively impacted Arab Americans and destroyed their American dream. This paper also emphasizes how difficult it is for Arab Americans to retain their identity and fit into American society after the attacks. | ||
