|a تركز نشاط البنوك المركزية منذ ظهورها، في العمل على تنظيم حركة النقود، والتأطير القانوني لقنوات التدفق النقدي والحفاظ على استقرار قيمة العملة، وتحقيق استقرار النظام النقدي لاقتصاديات الدول، إلى أن شهد العالم الأزمة المالية لسنة 2008 التي أدت إلى اختلال توازن اقتصاديات العالم، الأمر الذي أدى إلى اختلاف استقرار النظام المالي العالمي ككل، ما فرض ضرورة إعادة النظر في أبعاد دور البنوك المركزية من خلال تطوير وتعديل وتوسيع نطاق صلاحياتها على النحو الذي يمكنها من استحداث آليات عصرية تهدف إلى تحقيق استقرار الأنظمة المالية لبلدانها بشكل خاص واستقرار النظام المالي العالمي بشكل عام. وبات الواقع الاقتصادي العالمي يفرض حتمية التوجه نحو تبني نظام المالية الإسلامية كنظام مالي فعال ومتكامل أثبت نجاعته وصموده أمام أشد الأزمات المالية خطورة.
