هدفت هذه الدراسة إلي معرفة أتجاهات الطالبات والطلاب السعوديين في جامعة فرجينيا الغربية بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية نحو الدراسة بمعهد اللغة التابع للجامعة. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم تطبيق أداة القياس (الأستبانة) بعد التحقق من الخصائص السيكومترية للأداة، وقد أشتملت الأداة علي (28) فقره. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (80) طالباً وطالبة، حيث تم استخراج المتوسطات الحسابية والأنحرفات المعيارية لتقديرات أفراد عينة الدراسة علي الأستبانة ، كذلك تم أستخدام تحليل التباين الأحادي one-way ANOVA للمقارنة بين أستجابات عينة الدراسة علي أداة القياس تبعاً لمتغير المستوي الدراسي في المعهد ، في حين تم استخدام اختبار "ت" T-test لمجموعتين مستقلتين للمقارنه بين تقديرات عينه الدراسة تبعاً لمتغير الجنس . وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود اتجاهات غير إيجابية لدي عينة الدراسة نحو تأهيل أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالمعهد، وكذلك مدة الدرسة، وأعداد الطلاب في القاعات الدراسية، كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في أتجاهات عينة الدراسة نحو الدراسة بالمعهد تبعاً لمتغيري المستوي الدراسي في المعهد، والجنس. خلصت الدراسة إلي مجموعة من التوصيات كان أهمها رفع مستوي تأهيل أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالمعهد، ومراجعة مدة الدراسة , وأعداد الطلاب في القاعات الدراسية، وكذلك إجراء المزيد من الدراسات حول تدريس اللغة الأنجليزية للطلاب السعوديين في الخارج.
The trends of Saudi students at the University of West Virginia, USA to study at the Institute of language Centre of the University.. This study aimed to know the trends of Saudi students at the University of West Virginia, USA to study at the Institute of Language Center of the University. To achieve the objective of the study was the application of measurement tool (questionnaire) after verifying the psychometric properties of the tool, the tool has been included (28) paragraph. The study sample consisted of (80) students, which was extracted averages and standard deviations for the estimates of members of the study sample on the resolution,. as well as the use of analysis of variance single one-way ANOVA to compare the responses of the study sample on the measuring tool according to the variable-level course in the Institute, in test was used when the "T" T-test for independent groups to compare the estimates of the study sample according to the variable of sex. The results of the study and a trend is positive in a sample study to rehabilitation faculty institute, as well as the duration of the study, and the number of students in the classroom, as shown by the results of the study there is no statistically significant differences in the trends of the study sample to study the institute according to variables of level course in the Institute, and sex. The study concluded that a set of recommendations was the most important of which raise the level of qualification of the institute faculty members, and check the duration of the study, the number of students in classrooms, as well as further studies on the teaching of English for Saudi students abroad. \
