المستخلص: هدف البحث الحالي إلى تفعيل دور كلية التربية في تنمية قيم السلام لطلابها، وتقديم آليات للتفعيل، وقد استخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي في جمع المعلومات وتفسيرها حول دور كلية التربية في تنمية قيم السلام لطلابها، وعرض الإطار المفاهيمي لقيم السلام مثل: الحرية، التعايش السلمي، المواطنة، الديمقراطية، الحوار، كما استخدم البحث استبانة لرصد واقع دور كلية التربية بالإسماعيلية لتنمية قيم السلام لدى طلابها، وقدمت الاستبانة لعينة ممثلة لطلاب الفرقة الرابعة جميع الشعب وتمثلت محاورها في: دور إدارة الكلية، ودور أعضاء هيئة التدريس، ودور المناهج والمقررات الدراسية، ودور الأنشطة الطلابية والاتحاد الطلابي في تنمية قيم السلام؛ وكانت من أهم نتائجها: تحقق الدور بدرجة متوسطة في المحاور الأربعة مما يتطلب ضرورة تفعيل الدور من خلال تقديم آليات للتفعيل تشمل الأربعة جوانب؛ فأوصى البحث بضرورة نشر ثقافة السلام بالكلية، والتركيز على دور أعضاء هيئة التدريس في دعم المناقشة والحوار بين طلابهم، والاهتمام بفض المنازعات بينهم، ونبذ العنف، وتوجيههم للعمل التطوعي الخدمي، وتشجيع الطلاب للمشاركة بالأنشطة وتحقيق الشفافية والنزاهة في المسابقات والانتخابات الطلابية وتوجيه الطلاب للعمل التعاوني والتفكير الناقد، كذلك أوصى البحث بالاهتمام بمحتوى يتضمن موضوعات السلام مثل المواطنة وحقوق الإنسان والتسامح، ودعم الأنشطة للسلوك الديمقراطي لدى الطلاب، واحترام آرائهم، وتفعيل دور وحدة الدعم الطلابي في نشر السلام وتنمية قيمه بين الطلاب من خلال إقامة الندوات والمناقشات والبحوث الطلابية التي تشجع الانفتاح الثقافي وتؤمن بالاختلاف، وتنمي لدى الطالب تحمله مسئولية الحفاظ على هويته الثقافية وتحقيق المواطنة.

The current research aimed at providing suggestions for activating the role of the Faculty of Education in developing peace values among its students. The descriptive method was used for collecting and interpreting data about the target role of the Faculty of Education and presenting the conceptual framework for peace values such as freedom, peaceful coexistence, citizenship, democracy, and dialogue. A questionnaire was used to monitor the reality of the role of the Faculty of Education in Ismailia in developing the values of peace among its students. The questionnaire was administered to a representative sample of fourth-year students from all divisions. It included four dimensions: the role of the faculty administration, faculty members, curricula and courses,, student activities and the student union in developing the peace values Results revealed that the target role is moderately achieved in the four dimensions, which entail the activating the role by submitting suggestions covering the four dimensions. The research recommended the need for spreading the culture of peace in the faculty and focusing on its educational role in supporting discussions and dialogues among its students, paying attention to resolving disputes, renouncing violence, directing them to volunteer service work, encouraging students to participate in activities achieving transparency and integrity in student competitions and elections. It was also recommended to direct students to collaborative work, critical thinking, and interest in content that includes issues of peace such as citizenship, human rights, and tolerance and emphasis on the role of the faculty members as a model in supporting the democratic behavior of their students and respecting their opinions and in peaceful relations with their colleagues and students, and activating the role of the student support unit in spreading peace and developing its values among students through seminars, discussions and student research encouraging cultural openness and belief in differences and develop students’ responsibility to preserve their cultural identity and achieve citizenship.
