المستخلص: هدف البحث الحالي إلى تعرف العلاقة الارتباطية بين الاهتمام الاجتماعي والتفكير المستقبلي لدى طلبة الجامعة، واستعملت الباحثة مقياس الاهتمام الاجتماعي ويتكون من (٢٤) فقرة ضمن أربعة مجالات رئيسية ومقياس التفكير المستقبلي ويتكون من (٤٧) فقرة ضمن مجالين رئيسيين وتم التحقق من الصدق والثبات باستخراج الخصائص الإحصائية لهما وتم التوصل للنتائج بالوسائل الإحصائية المناسبة، وبلغت عينة البحث (٤٠٠) طالب وطالبة، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج الآتية: ۱- امتلاك عينة البحث للاهتمام الاجتماعي وبمستوى اعلى من المتوسط. 2- وجود فروق ذو دلالة في الاهتمام الاجتماعي حسب متغير الجنس. 3- امتلاك عينة البحث للتفكير المستقبلي وبمستوى اعلى من المتوسط. ٤- وجود فروق ذات دلالة في التفكير المستقبلي حسب متغير التخصص (علمي -إنساني) ٥- وجود علاقة طردية دالة من الاهتمام الاجتماعي والتفكير المستقبلي.

The aim of this study is to investigate the correlation between social interest and future-oriented thinking among university students. The researcher utilized the Social Interest Scale, which consists of 24 items that are classified into four primary domains, and the Future Thinking Scale, which consists of 47 items that are classified into two primary domains. The features were extracted in order to assess their validity and reliability. The presented data pertains to a statistical analysis that was conducted using appropriate methods. The study's sample comprised of 400 students, both male and female. The research produced the subsequent findings: The observed sample population demonstrates a higher level of social interest in comparison to the standard. There are significant differences in social interest based on gender. According to the acquisition of the research sample for the purpose of advanced contemplation, there are significant differences in cognitive abilities based on the specialization factor, specifically in the fields of science and humanities. There is a direct functional correlation between social interest and future-oriented thinking.
