The change in the education model requires the integration of digital technology in higher educational institutions. Great Britain is the leader by creating an Open University which offers high quality of education at controllable costs. The Algerian university is characterized by the fragmentation of its teaching system. The COVID 19 crisis has accelerated the change in the Algerian university which, like other universities in developing countries, has made considerable efforts in the digitization of teaching and scientific research. What is the impact of digital technology on the change of higher education’s economic model? In order to give answer to this question, we have mobilized macroeconomic data called metadata that we used in a benchmarking study. |
