المستخلص: هدف البحث الحالي إلى تقصى فاعلية استراتيجية المكعب في تدريس الدراسات الاجتماعية على تنمية مهارات التفكير التاريخي لدى تلاميذ الصف الثالث الإعدادي، واتبعت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي والمنهج التجريبي ذو التصميم شبه التجريبي، وتحددت مواد البحث في قائمة مهارات التفكير التاريخي اللازمة لتلاميذ الصف الثالث الإعدادي، وكتيب التلميذ، ودليل المعلم الإرشادي لوحدة "مصر والزحف الاستعماري ومحاولات التحرر الوطني" والمصاغين وفقاً لاستراتيجية المكعب، كما تمثلت أداة البحث في اختبار مهارات التفكير التاريخي، وطبقت تجربة البحث وفق التصميم التجريبي ذو المجموعتين (إحداهما تجريبية والثانية ضابطة تتعرض لقياسين قبلي وبعدي) وبلغ عددهم (٦٠) تلميذاً بمدرسة "عبد الصبور عبد الرحمن الجبلاوي" الإعدادية المشتركة التابعة لإدارة أسوان التعليمية، وتوصل البحث الحالي إلى وجود فرق دال إحصائياً عند مستوى (۰,۰۱) بين متوسطي درجات تلاميذ المجموعة التجريبية والمجموعة الضابطة في التطبيق البعدي لاختبار مهارات التفكير التاريخي لصالح تلاميذ المجموعة التجريبية؛ مما يؤكد فاعلية استراتيجية المكعب في تدريس الدراسات الاجتماعية على تنمية مهارات التفكير التاريخي لدى تلاميذ الصف الثالث الإعدادي في مجال تدريس الوحدة المختارة، وجاءت توصيات البحث بضرورة الاهتمام باستراتيجية المكعب في تدريس مادة الدراسات الاجتماعية بالمرحلة الإعدادية للتغلب علي الصعوبات التي تواجهه تعلم هذه المادة، ولتحقيق الأهداف التعليمية التي يصعب تحقيقها بطرق التدريس التقليدية.

The current research aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the Cube strategy in teaching social studies on developing the historical thinking skills of the third preparatory grade students, and The researcher followed the analytical descriptive approach and the experimental approach with a semi-experimental design, he research materials were identified in the list of historical thinking skills required for third year middle school students, the student's handbook, and the teacher's guide for the unit "Egypt, Colonial Encroachment and Attempts at National Liberation" and formulated according to the cube strategy, The research tool was represented in testing the skills of historical thinking, and the research experiment was applied according to the experimental design with two groups (one experimental and the second a control subject to two measurements before and after), and their number reached (60) students at the “Abdul Sabour Abdel Rahman Al-Gablawy” joint preparatory school affiliated to the Aswan Education Administration, The current research found that there is a statistically significant difference at the level (0.01) between the mean scores of the students of the experimental group and the control group in the post application of the test of historical thinking skills in favor of the students of the experimental group, This confirms the effectiveness of the cube strategy in teaching social studies on developing the historical thinking skills of the third preparatory grade students in the field of teaching the selected unit, The recommendations of the research came with the need to pay attention to the strategy of the cube in teaching social studies in the preparatory stage in order to overcome the difficulties encountered in learning this subject, and to achieve educational goals that are difficult to achieve by traditional teaching methods.
