المستخلص: The research aimed at identifying the quality level of the achievement tests set by the faculty members of Tabuk University, Home Economics Department. It also identified work stress level for them, and the extent of connection between stress level and tests' quality. For this purpose, there were two main tools that have been depended on in collecting data: The measurement of test quality assessment and work stress. The validity of these measurements was ensured in terms of honesty and consistency. The research depended on the descriptive method. It has brought about a set of important results, such as the decreased quality of the achievement tests set by the faculty members of Home Economics Department than the needed quality level that have been specified in the research (85 %). The results also clarified the tests major focus on objective questions than essay questions. Regarding the application of work stress measurement on the staff members of the two Colleges of Education with their scientific and literaty sections, the results showed that they expose a great work stress, and those in scientific specialization have greater sense of stress. In addition, those who are assistant professors suffer from higher stress than the lecturers do. Also, the expatriate members feel stress more than the citizens. It also revealed that the faculty members of Home Economics Department who feel higher degree of stress are less interesting in setting high quality tests.
