المستخلص: الحكم على الشيء فرع عن تصوره؛ ليطابق الحكم الواقع، والبحث يتجه نحو النظر في إمكانية تأثيل لفظة النانو، والوقوف على طريق الاجتهاد لوضع تصور له وصولا إلى تحقيق المناط الموصل إلى المعهود الوسط في أحكام المستجدات. ويأتي البحث في مقدمة وفيها تعريف بتقنية النانو وبداية النشأة، ومبحثين أولهما: التأثيل اللغوي لمصطلح النانو، والآخر: المقترح في تحقيق الاجتهاد الجماعي للمستجدات وتحقيق المناط، وختامه: وأهم نتائجها أن التأثيل فن تتجاذبه حقول لغوية كثيرة يمكن إرجاعها لتأصيلات ابن جني؛ إذ يعنى بالبحث في أصل الألفاظ، وأنه يمكن تأثيل مصطلح النانو على الجذر اللغوي (ن و ن) وهو جذر عربي فصيح فالقاسم المشترك هو الصغر المتناهي مع التداخل والجمال، والبحث في حقيقة الواقعة والتعرف على أوصافها هو بحث في المناط الذي تحقق فيها، ويصعب إصدار حكم شرعي عام يمنع استخدام هذه التقنية؛ إذ الأصل في الأشياء الإباحة، والأضرار المترتبة عليها غير يقينية.
