في سياق (تحليل الخطاب القرآني) اختلفت آراء أهل العلم حول «الحروف المقطعة»؛ فمنهم من توقف في شأنها، واعتبرها من المتشابه الذي استأثر الله بعلمه، ومنهم من رآها خطابا من الله (عز وجل) إلى نبيه «محمد» (صلى الله عليه وسلم) أعلمه معناه دون بقية خلقه، ومنهم من رآها خطابا من الله تعالى إلى خاصة أوليائه أودعها لطائف إشاراته، وضمنها أسرار معانيه التي يقصدهم بها دون سائر خلقه، ومنهم من رآها خطابا من الله تعالى إلى كافة أوليائه وإلى عامة المكلفين، فهي من وجهة النظر تلك ليست من المتشابه الذي استأثر الله بعلمه، بل هي من المحكم أو من المتشابه الذي يطلب بدقائق العلم. وعلى كل؛ فإن البحث عن معاني تلك الحروف لا يكاد يصل بصاحبه إلى نتيجة يطمئن إليها؛ فقد تشعبت الآراء، وتباينت المذاهب، وتعددت الأفكار حول تلك الحروف، بحيث إنك لا تكاد تجد أحدا استقام له رأى إلا وتجد آخر قد محى له ذلك الرأي، ولا تجد أحدا استقر له مقام إلا وتجد أخر قد أقام له فيه اعتراضا أحاله دون مقامه، حتى صار البحث عن معاني تلك الحروف وعن وجه الإعجاز فيها هو بذاته وجه الإعجاز، إذ الحيرة في الثبات على حقيقة أمر برهان العجز عن الوصول إلى هذه الحقيقة. ويبقى البحث عن وجه الحكمة من إنزالها على هذا النحو هو سبيل الانتفاع بها على جهة غلبة الظن، لا على جهة القطع واليقين، والحكمة من إنزالها لا توصف- ولا يمكن أن توصف- بأنها من المتشابه الذي استأثر الله بعلمه، ولا من المحكم الذي لا يسع أحدا الجهل به، بل هي مما يدرك بشيء من النظر، وإعمال الفكر، ولعل ذلك يفسر اختلاف مذاهب أهل العلم في بيان تلك الحكم، والكشف عما تضمنتها هذه الحروف من الأسرار، ولعل أقربهم إلى الصواب، وأبعدهم عن الوهم من بحث عن تلك الحكم وهاتيك الأسرار في ضوء «قضية الإعجاز»، وهذا ما حاول هذا البحث الوقوف عليه.
In the context of analyzing the Quranic discourse, scholars have differed in their opinions regarding the disjointed letters. Some have considered them as part of the similar verses" or "mutashabihat" verses that Allah has kept the knowledge of their meanings to Himself, while others have seen them as a divine speech from Allah (Glorified be He and Exalted) to His Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in which he alone knew their meanings, excluding the rest of creation. Some have also viewed them as a divine speech from Allah (Glorified be He and Exalted) to His Ouliya al-Rahman" or "Guardians of the Merciful. Entrusted to them with subtle indications that contain the secrets of His meanings, excluding the rest of creation. Lastly, some have considered them as a divine speech from Allah (Glorified be He and Exalted) to all of His saints and accountable people, and from this perspective, they are not part of the similar verses" or "mutashabihat" that Allah has kept the knowledge of their meanings to Himself, but rather they are either decisive or similar verses" or "mutashabihat" that can be understood through meticulous knowledge. However, the search for the meanings of these letters hardly leads one to a satisfying conclusion. Opinions have diverged, schools of thought have varied, and ideas have multiplied regarding these letters. It is difficult to find someone who adheres to a certain opinion without finding others who refute it. The search for the meanings of these letters and the miraculous aspect in them has become an enigma in itself. The confusion in establishing the truth about this matter is evidence of our incapacity to reach it. Nevertheless, searching for the wisdom behind revealing these letters in this manner is a way to benefit from them based on the predominance of conjecture, not on certainty. The wisdom behind their revelation cannot be described as part of the similar verses" or "mutashabihat” verses that Allah has kept the knowledge of their meanings to Himself or as decisive verses that no one can be ignorant of. It is something that can be grasped through insight and intellectual effort. Perhaps this explains the difference in opinions among scholars in explaining these wisdoms and uncovering the secrets contained within these letters. The closest to the truth and farthest from delusion are those who search for these wisdoms and secrets in light of the miracle issue, and this is what this research aims to achieve.
