This paper aims to conduct a comparative analysis of two seminal works in literature, Fyodor Dostoevsky's "Crime and Punishment" and Albert Camus' "The Stranger," with a focus on exploring the human condition. The objectives of this study are to examine the existential themes, moral dilemmas, and psychological aspects portrayed in the novels, as well as to analyze the authors' perspectives on guilt, justice, and the meaning of life. The methodology employed involves a close reading of both texts, supplemented by scholarly research and literary criticism. Key passages and character interactions are carefully examined to identify recurrent motifs, symbols, and philosophical ideas. Comparative techniques are employed to highlight similarities and differences in the portrayal of the human condition and the authors' approaches to storytelling. The results of the analysis reveal that both Dostoevsky and Camus present protagonists who grapple with existential questions, experience psychological turmoil, and navigate moral ambiguity.
