المستخلص: تعيش المكتبات ومؤسسات المعلومات في العالم العربي مفارقات ترتبط من جهة بالسعي إلى مواكبة التحولات الجديدة التي تفرضها البيئة الاجتماعية، والحضرية، والتكنولوجية، ومن جهة أخرى تعلق هذه المكتبات بالمفاهيم التقليدية والمقاربات التسييرية الكلاسيكية، والافتقار إلى الإمكانيات والموارد اللازمة، وهو ما يضع المكتبيين داخل هذه الفضاءات في الغالب أمام حتمية تبني وتقليد التجارب الرائدة في الدول التي تعرف مكتبات قوية، والتي تعمل في ظروف وشروط ملائمة، أو الهروب وتجنب الخوض في هذه التحولات، وعليه نحاول من خلال هذه الورقة تقديم أحد المقاربات التي تسمح للمكتبيين في الوطن العربي للتعامل مع هذه الظروف والتغلب على المشكلات والتحديات التي تجهدهم، وعدم الاكتفاء بتقليد ومحاكاة تجارب الدول الأخرى، وذلك من خلال اعتماد منهج "التفكير التصميمي" أو" التفكير الذي يركز على الإنسان"، حيث جاءت هذه الدراسة الاستقصائية الاثنوغرافية بشبكة مكتبات المطالعة العمومية بالغرب الجزائري، لتبرز تمثلاث المكتبيين حول التغيرات والتحولات التي تمس هذه المؤسسات، ومدى اطلاعهم ودرايتهم بمنهج التفكير التصميمي ومجالات استخدامه، والنشاطات التي تندرج تحته.

Libraries and information institutions in the Arab world are experiencing paradoxes related, on the one hand, to the ability to respond to the transformations imposed by the social, urban and technological environment, and on the other hand, they are attached to traditional concepts and classical management approaches, and to the lack of necessary means and resources. This often puts librarians within these spaces in the imperative position of either adopting and imitating the pioneering experiences of libraries in developed countries, which work under the right circumstances and conditions, or running away from and avoiding entering into these transformations. In this article, we will discuss some approaches that enable librarians in the Arab world to face these circumstances and overcome the problems and challenges that are highlighted, and not to imitate and simulate the experiences of other countries, focusing on the approach of ‘design thinking’ or ‘human centered thinking’. The study presented is based on an ethnographic survey of the network of public reading libraries in Western Algeria, to highlight the representations of librarians on the changes and transformations affecting these institutions, their awareness and knowledge of the design thinking approach and its areas of use, as well as the activities that fall under it. public.

Les bibliothèques et les institutions d’information dans le monde arabe vivent des paradoxes liés, d’une part à la capacité de donner des réponses aux transformations imposées par l’environnement social, urbain et technologique, et d’autre part, elles sont attachées aux concepts traditionnels et aux approches classiques de gestion, et au manque de moyens et de ressource nécessaires. Ce qui met souvent les bibliothécaires au sein de ces espaces devant l’impératif d’adopter et d’imiter les expériences pionnières des bibliothèques des pays développés, qui fonctionnent dans les bonnes circonstances et conditions, ou de fuir et d’éviter d’entrer dans ces transformations. Dans cet article, nous discuterons de certaines approches qui permettent aux bibliothécaires dans le monde arabe de faire face à ces circonstances et de surmonter les problèmes et les défis qui sont soulignés, et non pas d’imiter et de simuler les expériences d’autres pays, en se concentrant sur l’approche du « design thinking » ou « human centered thinking». L’étude présentée s’appuie sur une enquête ethnographique du réseau des bibliothèques de lecture publique dans l’ouest de l’Algérie, pour mettre en évidence les représentations des bibliothécaires sur les changements et les transformations qui affectent ces institutions, leur conscience et leur connaissance de l’approche design thinking et de ses domaines d’utilisation, ainsi que des activités qui en relèvent.
