| 520 | |d Les travaux de Barthes s’intéressent à de multiple discours sociaux et systèmes de signes (mythes, mode, discours…). C’est l’un des premiers théoriciens ayant concrétisé le patrimoine théorique structuraliste saussurien, en accélérant et élargissant le transfert de l’approche linguistique aux sphères sociales. Malgré les reproches reçus à l’égard de son mauvais emploi des concepts structuralistes, on pense que sa méthode a considérablement évolué au fil du temps, cependant, celle-ci a certainement un sens pour la sociologie, mais elle est penchée davantage sur la sémiotique et pragmatique du discours. |f Barthes' work focuses on multiple social discourses and sign systems (myths, fashion, discourse, etc.). He is one of the first theorists to have concretized the Saussurian structuralist theoretical heritage, by accelerating and broadening the transfer of the linguistic approach to social spheres. Despite the criticisms received regarding his misuse of structuralist concepts, his method is believed to have evolved considerably over time, however, it certainly makes sense for sociology, but it leans more towards semiotics and pragmatics of discourse.
