المستخلص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف إلى مفهوم الهوية الوطنية وسماتها، وتوضيح أنواع مؤسسات التنشئة المختلفة كالأسرة والمدرسة والجامعة والإعلام والأحزاب السياسية وغيرها من مؤسسات، وإبراز دور مؤسسات التنشئة في تعزيز الهوية الوطنية. وقد استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي للإجابة عن الفرضية الأساسية التي مفادها أن: "هناك دور إيجابي لمؤسسات التنشئة الاجتماعية والسياسية في تعزيز مفهوم الهوية الوطنية"، وقد أثبتت الدراسة صحة فرضيتها، حيث استعرضت الدور الإيجابي الذي تقوم به تلك المؤسسات- إذا ما تم توجيهها بالشكل الصحيح- في تعزيز الهوية الوطنية. وبعد عرض ومناقشة النتائج، كان من أهم توصيات الدراسة اعتماد تخطيط علمي مدروس يقود إلى عمل وطني مشترك، يوفر للمواطنين الزاد الثقافي والحضاري والإعلامي الذي يشكل فكرهم ووجدانهم الإنساني، ويحافظ على هويتهم، ويعمق انتماءهم لوطنهم، وتأكيد أهمية نشر الثقافة السياسية، والمشاركة في العمل السياسي والبرامج التدريبية الوطنية التي تنفذها المؤسسات التربوية والتعليمية؛ لأن ذلك يعمل على خلق نشء شبابي مسلح بقيم وطنية سياسية رصينة، تسمح له بتطوير المكونات الفكرية، وتسهم في انخراطه في العمل السياسي، الأمر الذي ينعكس إيجابا على تنمية مفهوم الولاء والانتماء لديه ضمن آفاق الهوية الوطنية.

The study aims to understand the concept of national identity and its characteristics. Additionally, it sought to elucidate the roles of various upbringing institutions, such as the family, school, university, media, political parties, and others, in shaping and strengthening national identity. In pursuit of these objectives, the research employed a descriptive-analytical method, utilizing this approach to address the central hypothesis: "There is a positive role for social and political socialization institutions in strengthening the concept of national identity." The study's findings validated the hypothesis. They showed the positive contributions of these institutions in reinforcing national identity, provided they are appropriately directed. Following the presentation and discussion of results, a key recommendation stemming from the study is the adoption of thoughtful scientific planning leading to collaborative national action that will provide citizens with cultural, civilizational, and informational resources that shape their human thought and conscience, preserve their identity, and foster a deep sense of belonging to their homeland. The study underscores the significance of promoting political culture and active engagement in political work and national training programs implemented by educational institutions. This approach aims to cultivate a generation equipped with strong national political values that contribute to individuals' intellectual development and empower them to participate actively in political endeavours. This, in turn, positively impacts the development of loyalty and a sense of belonging within the broader context of national identity. This abstract was translated by AlMandumah Inc.
