المستخلص: عرفت الجزائر بعد الاستقلال تحولات عميقة في الميدان الصحي، وهذا بهدف إرساء نظام صحي عادل يضمن رعاية صحية نوعية للجميع، واستجابة لنمو ديمغرافي مرتفع. إلا أنه، وبالرغم من المجهودات الجبارة والاستثمارات المعتبرة، لا يزال النظام الصحي الوطني يعاني من العديد من الاختلالات وأوجه قصور، لا سيما عدم وجود عدالة في الانتفاع بالخدمات الصحية، ووجود فوارق كبيرة في توزيع الموارد البشرية الطبية وكذا الهياكل الصحية. وتأسيسا على ذلك وانطلاقا منه، يحاول هذا المقال تسليط الضوء على واقع النظام الصحي في الجزائر، وكشف الاختلالات ومواطن الضعف التي يعاني منها.

Après l’indépendance, l’Algérie a connu des transformations profondes dans le domaine de la santé; dans le but de mettre en place un système de santé équitable, garantissant un accès aux soins de qualité pour tous, et aussi pour faire face à une croissance démographique élevée. Toutefois, malgré les efforts énormes et les investissements considérables, il persiste des déficits sociaux préoccupants, notamment l’inégalité des chances dans l'accès aux soins, et les disparités dans la répartition du personnel médical et des infrastructures sanitaires. Sur cette base et à partir de ces considérations, notre étude tente de jeter la lumière sur la réalité du système de santé en Algérie, et de relever les disfonctionnements et les défaillances persistantes du secteur sanitaire algérien.

After gaining independence, Algeria underwent substantial changes in the healthcare sector, aiming to establish an equitable health system that ensures quality healthcare for all, driven by the challenges posed by high demographic growth. Despite considerable efforts and significant investments, the national health system continues to grapple with numerous imbalances and shortcomings. Notably, there is a lack of equity in access to health services, and significant disparities persist in the distribution of medical human resources and health structures. Building on this foundation, this article seeks to illuminate the current state of the health system in Algeria, bringing attention to the existing imbalances and weaknesses that it faces.
