|a هدفت الدراسة لمعرفة معدل الذكاء العام لطلاب المرحلة الثانوية بمحلية شرق النيل، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة اتبع الباحثون المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتم اختيار عينة الدراسة بالطريقة القصدية وبلغ حجمها (1000) طالب وطالبة، ولجمع البيانات تم استخدام اختبار المصفوفات المتتابعة المعياري، ولتحليل البيانات تم استخدام برنامج الحزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (spss) وتم استخدام الأساليب الإحصائية التالية: اختبار (ت) للعينة الواحدة، اختبار (ت) للعينتين، اختبار مان ويتني، اختبار (ف) لتحليل التباين الأحادي، وتوصلت الدراسة للنتائج التالية: يتسم معدل الذكاء العام لطلاب المرحلة الثانوية بالارتفاع، وتوجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في معدل الذكاء العام لطلاب المرحلة الثانوية تبعا لمتغير النوع لصالح الذكور، كما توجد فروق في معدل الذكاء العام لطلاب المرحلة الثانوية تبعا لمتغير العمر لصالح عمر (14) سنة، وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في معدل الذكاء العام لطلاب المرحلة الثانوية تبعا لمتغير الترتيب الولادي.
|b The study aimed at finding out the general IQ of secondary school students in East Nile locality, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers followed the descriptive analytical approach. The statistical package for the social sciences (spss) was used and the following statistical methods were used: one-sample t-test, two- sample t-test, Mann-Whitney test, q-test for one-way analysis of variance The study reached the following results: The general IQ of secondary school students is high, and there are statistically significant differences in the general IQ of secondary school students according to the gender variable in favor of males, and there are differences in the general IQ of secondary school students according to the age variable in favor of age (14). year, and there were no statistically significant differences in the general IQ of secondary school students according to the birth order variable, and the study concluded with a number of recommendations and some suggestions for future studies.
