|b The study aimed to identify the types and methods of administrative communication that are used between departments at King Faisal Hospital. The study also sought to identify the most important determinants that stand in the way of effective administrative communication and to explain their relationship to health service provision at King Faisal Hospital. The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach through a questionnaire that was applied to a sample of 282 employees at King Faisal Hospital. The results of the study showed that there are no significant organizational determinants of communication and environmental determinants of communication. The results showed the absence of psychosocial determinants, while the presence of personal communication determinants was found at a moderate level of importance. On the other hand, the study found a high level of health service provision. In addition, the results showed a statistically significant relationship at the level of statistical significance (0.05 ≤ α) for the determinants of administrative communication (organizational, personal, environmental, and psychosocial) on health service provision. The study recommended paying attention to personal determinants in communication by improving communication methods and the nature of relationships between the manager and employees.
