|a هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة تصورات مستوى امتلاك الأشخاص ذوي متلازمة داون المهارات تقرير المصير بشكل عام من وجهة نظر معلمات قبل الخدمة. ومن أجل تحقيق أهداف هذه الدراسة، تم اختيار عينة عشوائية مكونة من (132) معلمة تربية خاصة في مرحلة قبل الخدمة من جامعة مؤتة في جنوب الأردن، وتم استخدام مقياس امتلاك مهارات تقرير المصير لجمع بيانات الدراسة. أشارت النتائج إلى أن تصورات المعلمات لمستوى امتلاك الأشخاص ذوي متلازمة داون لمهارات تقرير المصير كان متوسطا، وأنه لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا في مستوى امتلاك هذه المهارات تعزى لمتغيرات السنة الدراسية، الخبرة السابقة في التعامل مع ذوي متلازمة داون، ودراسة مادة الإعاقة الذهنية.
|b This study aimed to determine the pre-service special education teachers’ perceptions of the level of self-determination skills among people with Down syndrome. To achieve the aims of this study, a random sample of (132) pre-service special education teachers from Mu'tah University in southern Jordan was selected, and the self-determination skills scale was used to collect the study data. The results indicated that the level of self-determination skills of persons with Down syndrome was moderate and that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of possession of these skills due to the school year, previous experience in dealing with people with Down syndrome, and the studying course of intellectual disability.
