|a احتل مفهوم التربية الرقمية مكانة مهمة في سوسيولوجيا التربية، خصوصا مع انفتاح المدرسة على محيطها الخارجي، ورغبة الفاعلين التربويين في صياغة نمط تعليمي رقمي يواكب المستجدات التكنولوجيا، ويتيح لكل متعلم فرصة الاندماج في بيئة تعليمية تفاعلية، تيسر عملية التعلم، واكتساب المعرفة عن بعد، وتقوم على مبدأ المساواة في زمن العولمة، والمعرفة الرقمية. هذا الأمر فرض على مؤسسات التنشئة الاجتماعية تفعيل أوليات المواطنة الرقمية، لتمكين المتعلمين من الانخراط الإيجابي مع الأنماط التعليمية الحديثة.
