|a الأهداف: هدفت الدراسة إلى قياس مستوى مقروئية كتب العلوم (الفيزياء، الكيمياء، علوم الأرض والبيئة، والعلوم الحياتية) المقررة لدى طلبة للصف التاسع الأساسي في الأردن.، المنهجية: استخدمت الدراسة المنهج التحليلي، وتم بناء اختبار التتمة (كلوز) لستة نصوص من الكتب المقررة، وتم تطبيقه على عينة مكونة من (280) طالبا وطالبة تم اختيارهم عشوائيا من طلبة الصف التاسع الأساسي في مدارس لواء القويسمة في العاصمة عمان.، النتائج: أظهرت النتائج أن مستوى مقروئية كتاب الفيزياء جاء في المستوى الإحباطي، في حين جاء مستوى مقروئية كتابي الكيمياء وعلوم الأرض والبيئة في المستوى التعليمي، وأن مستوى مقروئية كتاب العلوم الحياتية في المستوى المستقل.، الخلاصة: في ضوء النتائج السابقة، أوصت الدراسة بضرورة الاهتمام بمقروئية كتب العلوم.
|b Objectives: This study aimed to measure the readability level of science textbooks (Physics, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences, and Biology) used for ninth-grade students in Jordan., Methods: The study employed an analytical approach and constructed a Cloze test for six passages from the prescribed textbooks. It was administered to a sample of 280 male and female students randomly selected from ninth-grade students in schools in Al-Qwaismeh district in the capital, Amman., Results: The readability level of the Physics textbook was found to be frustrating; the readability levels of the Chemistry and Earth and Environmental Sciences textbooks were at an educational level, the readability level of the Life Sciences textbook was at an independent level., Conclusions: The study recommended there is a need to pay attention to the readability of science textbooks.
